No. That's even spelled out. You use the report function if an OCSM is abusive.

A. No! If you feel an OCSM was disrepectful to you first, please use the report button instead of replying so we can step in and correct the situation. If you decide to reply and things get out of hand, then action might have to be taken against you too.

Actually there is an OCSM that I'm surprised is still allowed to be on here the way she attacks people verbally. Maybe her Herpes flared up and her period started at the same time, that would make most girls grumpy I would think. I guess she's punished enough then.

I do of course agree, that nobody should insult or harm an OCSM or any other member of the board.

And everyone here should be treated with respect, but what I do not like about this protection act is,
that it differs between an OCSM and any other member here.
Everyone here should be "protected" the same way, if someone insults an OCSM then he gets banned, but if someone insults a normal memberr, then he just gets a warning? That is not okay.

The board needs to keep the OCSMs. They are the draw. They provide content. You do not, so no, you don't deserve the same treatment.
