Just needed some advice about a very unusual and distressing problem I am experiencing at work. Wasn't sure at first weather to post here about it but thought I'd give it a go.
I have recently started a new job working for a private medical firm and I'm into my 2nd week here and one of my colleagues who works here (not in my department) is a female employee who works as a dietician.
I have only just meet her twice and only talk about work stuff only however I know very little about her. To put it short basically I have no intentions of being with this women (because of different religon) or any relationship but yesterday evening he did talk shortly before work and after chatting away for a bit she said she was interested in a relationship. I immediately replied this could not be possible. Basically she refused to answer my questions instread she put me into a diffuclt sitaution. She said I either accept her proposal or otherwise she intends to no longer live. It took me by suprise and shock and I left and haven't seen or spoken to her since.
I feel guilty in many ways but from what I now know appearently (from someone) she has had a tough upbringing and her parents have been quite ******** to her and have tried to arrange her marriage by ***** on many occasions. I don't have a clue why she has done this to me and whilst I do not have any intentions being with her at the same time I worry about her harming herself. I hope this gives some idea about whats happened, any ideas what to do ?
