*2016 US Presidential Elections* - Candidates, Statistics, Campaign Timelines, Debates

CNN announced details of their Republican debate next week on the 16th. 11 in the main debate, the previous 10 plus Carly, 5 in the earlier "kids table" debate. Didn't catch who won't be there. (Did someone officially drop out?)

Breaking News...Rick Perry is suspending his campaign. Not surprising since he has been out of money for a couple of weeks, and the $15+ million his Super Pac has can not be used to pay his staffers.

Remember when Carson said Obamacare was the worst thing to happen to the U.S "since slavery". So much so that "Obamacare" was only mentioned 6 times in the first debate and probably won't be mentioned tonight since it's going to center mostly on foreign policy

I gotta run with this one, if I were to get an US citizen. You understand.

What if he ran against George Burns. Then you have a white God running against a black God. That would be tough, right? Wouldn't the God that you didn't vote for be pissed off?

Yup, but perhaps he doesn't think slavery is that bad. Maybe not. Maybe that was the utterance of a green politician. He has learned and tone down his overstatements, I think.

Anecdotal mind you, but, was just told by a doctor that it makes sense to hold off a couple of years for my daughter to have an operation. Then the doctor says as he is just adding more information, that "This type of procedure may not be covered by insurance a few years from now." When I queried him, he seemed pretty straightforward and wasn't grinding an ax against Affordable Health Care, just stating what he understands. So, for me, I'm not so happy with Obamacare right now either.

Fiorina won this debate hands down. Rubio was solid too

Yeah, but the face on her, seriously, could you vote for that? I kid, I kid.

She is coached. To her credit she is extremely coachable, but she doesn't know anything that hasn't been spoon fed to her, especially on the military. I actually like Hillary Clinton better than Carly Fiorina.

When Fiorina is rattling off exactly how many more U.S. Marine battalions are needed or how many carrier battle groups along with their requisite number of air wings then yeah, I can see that. But she's quick on her feet. That response she had to the Trump "face" remark question - she couldn't have answered any better, and that was spur of the moment. And she's the ONLY one who has gotten Trump flustered so far.

I really think it will come to Trump as the official republican candidate. And even if he would win, that would be a total car crash for the GOP. But tghings are running so strange this time, who knows?

I just saw Fiorina singing about her dog to Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show. I think I love her.

Fiorina 2016
Ani, you need to look into her record a little more. She stabbed Cruz in the back, worked for McCain and said some disturbing things in support of Islam. She's a phony. She is John McCain in a skirt. She does have a nasty side and a sharp tongue and could probably eat Hillary alive in a debate just with her mean streak. Still waiting to see if she wears that coat made of Dalmation pelts yet.
