Well that ugly ass game came down to the two things I have been worried about all year. Lack of cohesion on the O-line and the secondary. I think it also showed how much they miss Darduzzi. Still, a great year and career for the seniors. Next year is going to be rough though.

sup folks hope you guys are having as much fun as me. i have had plumbing issues attacking me the past few weeks has been a nightmare....and i been doing plumbing for years. missed all the trash talk but if i told you guys how my picks are going you wouldnt believe me. ( i am not sure i believe me)? let me just say.....leave it to auburn and Elvis to dirty up my sheet. (i never seen the big deal with Elvis or the Beatles anyway?) i KNEW okie dokie had gaps i seen it earlier in the year. i think better teams got left out. and one game sticks out to me as far as Clemson goes SC had them on the ropes apparently ? i didnt see the game but the score tells me they gave up 32 points to the team that made Spur quit ! late in the year you cant forgive a team in the NCAA for that. clemson has a lot of win heart on that team but will that be enough? guess we know next week.........

I'm thinking Clemson is THAT good. :yesyes:

Call me crazy (and yes I'm posting this for posterity), but I think Sparty +10 is a stone lock. ;)

hope you didnt get LOCKED out of your house............

'Bama hasn't played a very good offence all year. You can keep telling yourself about what a great defense that you have but where is the proof? Remember when they were supposed to have to much speed for Ohio State last year? I have been watching St. Nick a lot longer then you so trust me. When the playing field is even, he's just an average coach. Dantonio has over three weeks to game plan. Cook's shoulder will be better and the O-line will be healthier than it's been all season. Don't tell me how tough the SEC is because this year there were at least two if not three conferences that were better this year. The Big Ten was one of them.

SOOOO many things i could say to you this morning but i think i say it best....when i say nothing at all. in fact i am going to hush and let you talk. what you think about that overrated defense this morning. tell us how you really feel.

As I said, and Kirk Herbstreit repeated the same thing after the Cotton Bowl, Clemson runs an offense that is Saban's Kryptonite.

However, Clemson has the same problem MSU had. Can their O-line protect their QB long enough to exploit Bama's suspect secondary?

This game could turn into a shootout, but I don't see Clemson maintaining that over 60 minutes. Bama is too deep and better conditioned. If Clemson is gonna win, they'll need to pile on points early.

this just in....the ones that think Bama is a fluke you can get the #1 team and 6 points against the #2 team. Clemson coach was mad because they were a dog yesterday...they were just 4 yesterday....wonder how he feels about being # 1 and a 6 point dog? personally i wouldnt touch this game with a stick. i think Bama can beat them as bad as they like. but as i said the very first week they put clemson #1...someone riding a big tall horse with a lot ! of money wants clemson champions. this stuff is all money controlled from the get go. a old man with a long gray beard showed me that years ago................

Even though I felt 90% certain 'Bama would win that spread kept me from betting the game.

Feeling bad for all the Iowa fans who traveled to L.A. Good fans who travel well. I can see the Rose Bowl is two thirds full of folks in black and gold. As usual lots of PAC 12 ticket holders sell their tickets. Hawkeye fans didn't even get to enjoy the usual balmy New Year's weather in So Cal. It's been unseasonably cold down there.

Before the Georgia game you got my guarantee you'd go undefeated the rest of the way. That's way more powerful mojo than some dude on a horse ;)

With all the blown replay calls this year (especially that onside kick in the Clemson-North Carolina game), and the refs getting into trouble with their leagues for blowing such easy calls, it is mighty fucking suspicious.

Good lord Ducks...what a complete embarrassment
Yeah ok you lost your starting QB for the rest of the game late in the 2nd quarter...but still...you've got a 31 point lead at the half against a team without it's starting QB...a team you totally shut down in the first half...but somehow you still found a way to lose.
Un fucking real

Connor trust me on this if you never read another one of my post. i been stirring this paint up 25 years.. not sure how old you are but i have been on top of this stuff with a pencil that long. as much money riding on one of these big games as they are today take it from a guy that reached in his pocket many times as a young buck...they are money controlled without a doubt. i have seen way to many things happen over the years. nothing is a better teacher than paying off on tues morning.after you do that enough you start to wonder WHY you are losing 75% of the time. i put that through the bat cave many many times. give you something to think about that holding call has changed the score of many games...one more thing ever notice you never get a blimp shot camera view during the game? as the old man told me...they could call holding every play if they wanted. ever got a speeding ticket going down the road yet you been down that road a thousand times speeding? ( be careful bodie..that man on that big tall horse has a big fat wallet) lol

lol
Naw. You're even more of a cinch now.
Why?
Because I had a nice fat parlay going from
Michigan to
Tennessee to
Mississippi to
Arkansas to
Oregon :thefinger to
Alabama

So you gotta know the Tide is a mortal lock now lol

And these bowls have only confirmed my contention that the SEC west remains the toughest division in college football

Alabama 38 Michigan State 0
Mississippi 48 Oklahoma State 20
Mississsippi State 51 NC State 28
LSU 56 Texas Tech 27
Arkansas 45 Kansas State 23
Auburn 31 Memphis 10

The Pac 12 north had a chance to go an admirable 5 and 0 but didn't thanks to you know who's team :thefinger

Well, what can you say. The Big 10 had a much improved regular season, but in the Bowls it went a meh 6 and 5...the stronger east div going 3 and 2.

last night i had a vision ...i look to my left and i saw Bama leading in the 3rd Qtr. 28 - 6....but THEN...i looked to my right i saw that big man in them big shoes..riding that tall horse named sucker.............he pushed up his hat and said if you see smoknn tell him he can run but he cant hide. ( if you guys see the guy on the horse tell him i been done a week if he gets me it will be next year) lol

well Bama is playing for all the marbles so everyone takes their bat and glove and goes home. ok i see how it is now. i know what you thinking you thinking well smoknn is going to be over there spouting off about Bama being the second car back. but look here let me just say one thing and then i will go away. i want to point out Bama is the #2 team in the nation if they get beat 50-0. this game changes nothing. i have live to see the state of Alabama dominate the game of college football and that cant be changed in one game. would love to win the ( NATTY) tonight but being #2 and being in Glendale is something a lot of other teams didnt do this year. we are # 2 going into this game you cant change that now or tonight at midnight regardless of the outcome. ROLLLLLL TIDEEEE ROLLLL ( one more thing i have a new play coming next year... first thing you do is let about half the air out of the ball....not sure yet what you do after that ? i still gotta work the big bang out. but letting out the air is part 1....to be continued
