Dat last play the U ran, though. Holy dog shit! I think that's the first time in the history of things that the multiple lateral kickoff return has actually worked since "The Game" in 1982.

That was amazing...damn!...and I think you're probably right about it being that long since one worked.

The band was NOT on the field this time. Not even a trombone player in the end zone. ;)

:rofl2: Yes, this is true, and that is why that play will always be "THE play" :nanner:

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
The officiating crew, including the replay official, have been suspended by the ACC. Ridiculous they didn't get it right.

So the committee is still drinking the SEC Kool-Aid. It doesn't really matter right now though, November is here and things will start to shuffle around. Memphis should be in the top ten. LSU-'Bama could decide the SEC team to make the playoffs. If the Tide doesn't pull it out they are done. Florida will not beat whoever comes out of the west. Notre Dame at 5, really? They stayed with Clemson in a monsoon but their only quality win was Temple.

can bama beat lsu? is still hanging on a rope that is one thing but i dont think lsu can beat florida in atlanta. the way i see it it took everything they had in the tank to beat them in the bayou with only a week to prepare a QB for the noise he was about to receive. i been watching florida out of the corner of my eye weeks before their QB got hurt. the things i watched them do they could have done with about anyone that could play pitch. in other words the QB wasnt what attracted me. they are pretty good all over the field but at the moment none of that matters. all lsu has to do is go to T TOWN and spank Bamas azz right quick and we can find out huh? :suspicious: seems simple enough to me..........to be continued monday..........

correct me if I'm wrong, but even with two losses doesn't Ole Miss still control their own destiny in the sec west? If they win out they'll be the only SEC west team with no in division losses.

We've got a similar situation in the PAC 12 southern division, where despite being 5 and 3 USC is the only team without a loss to a divisional opponent.

Bama/LSU should be a barn burner. I'm thinking the tide will win in a squeaker.

Most puzzling line of the week: Washington is favored by a point and a half over Utah at Washington. Now granted Utah isn't the greatest road team, but still.... :wtf:

Bodie to add up what you and i said= this system is messed up. dont guess i will ever live to see it like it should be. way to many teams it looks like from here think they should have a shot. they need to play it off just like the NFL. i couldnt care less about the NFL but i must say they do have enough sense to figure out who the champions are.....NO CRYING when the smoke clears. the biggest problem i see here is some teams get better during the year...some teams get worse.

There was some talk about this on the radio. What if Ole Miss and Memphis win out? The SEC champion would have 2 losses, and lowly Memphis, undefeated and having thrashed the SEC champion. How could the committee justify keeping Memphis out of the playoff? This is a nightmare scenario that the committee is praying does not come to pass.

after watching Baylor play another cream puff last night i ask you....is THAT what you want to see in a playoff game?? relly kevin????? the way K st slashed that line running a good running team would beat them something shameful........... guy.jpg

Bama gives up 6 points for home field advantage ...lol you gotta love it. i think bama would be favorite if they were playing the Dallas cowboys....in Dallas i wonder if they happen to notice LSU is undefeated??? or with a closer look they are rated above bama in the rankings??? we may wind up winning 2 touchdowns but looking at it from here..seeings how LSU is rated higher than bama after the dirt fights these two have had...if you see a point either way you see better than me.

I don't think K State qualifies as a cream puff (although they did get demolished by TCU - the only game TCU has impressed me in all year)...but still I get your point, and the answer is NO!

I think the whole point of the 4 team playoff is to create controversy. By doing that, it sparks interest, radio chatter, ratings, more money...

Last year, before the bowl season, the issue was Ohio State and whether they deserved to be in the playoffs, over TCU and/or Baylor.

This year, things are even stranger. Utah had a good run until USC. BYU won 2 straight on final miracles, and almost won the 3rd in the same way. Memphis is undefeated. Harbaugh turned Michigan around a lot quicker than anyone thought and shouldn't have lost to M-State. Miami lost to Duke, but was awarded a win after 4 non-calls on the final play. The conference admitted that, but stated they can't change the outcome. Really? They could change the rules. That would make things right, but they don't. Why is that? Because, it eliminates controversy. If the NCAA and/or the conferences really wanted to eliminate all this bullshit, they would make it to where the outcome of a game could be changed afterward, and, they'd go to an 8 team playoff.

This 4 team playoff has been godsend in their eyes and they're laughing all the way to the bank.

That was the same officiating crew that that gave Michigan a TD that was short. There were at least three times that Nebraska held Calhoun that didn't get called including one on one of the TDs. They never called any interference or defensive holding penalties against Nebraska even when they were mugging Burbridge the entire game. Now with all that being said, Sparty should never have let Nebraska stick around and it bit them in the ass. The call would not have mattered if they would have put them away. Now all they can hope for is to ruin the season for Ohio State and Iowa.

So how does both Ole Miss and Memphis losing effect Alabama? If Ole Miss wins out the SEC is left out of the playoffs as far as I can see. Florida won't make it even if they win out.

your math stops my watch??? and DONT!!! underestimate Florida.

standing on a box and laying down in the bed...this is how i look at it

1 Ohio state ( do i think they are number 1 no but they are last years defending champions that remain undefeated)
2 Baylor is paper and soon to show. Clemson is a object in the mirror as well...dont count Spur out. he will beat someone he is not supposed to before the year is out.
3 Bama just beat LSU.. you have got to do something with them you cant drop them?
4 all of these big mouth announcers that put TCU QB up for a Heisman trophy went to school yesterday. seems like that picture became a little clearer when the sun went down in T TOWN
5 Note Dame has a better team then me or anyone else here has give them credit for. (as a Alabama fan that hurts)
6 it seems to me like okie state made their claim for a piece of the cake as well
7 florida state had their number 1 team on the ropes and on oxegen .........
8 i feel better now..hope i didnt leave anything out.
