2011 NFL Draft

The 9ers traded up with Denver to draft QB Colin Kaepernick out of Nevada. Another guy I don't know much about. Lol. Jagger, you're up ;) All I know is he was ranked 2nd behind Gabbert in some mock drafts. It'll be nice to have some fresh blood in there. Smith, Smith and Carr weren't and won't ever cut it.

Denver got our 2nd, 4th and 5th.

Sorry, but I really don't see Kaepernick being a good QB in the NFL. The dude has a the physical tools, 6'6", huge arm, great athletic ability (a Cam Newton knock-off). But when I saw him at the senior bowl I thought he really struggled in the pro system. I think he'll be a project.

He's definitely a project, but Harbaugh wanted him specifically. He's a great QB mentor and I trust him. Bigger arm than Mallett, quicker than Newton, athletically I've seen him compared to Desean Jackson. Prototype frame, smart, good attitude, crazy potential. He won't play his first year at all, but that's alright. Let him sit and study/practice his ass off.

I still think they'll take Luck if he's available next year.

The Lions? Really? ....... Really? You do realize that the Vikings, Bears & The Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers are in the same Division, right?

I'd say Detroit still has a long, long, way to go :nono:

The Bears and Vikings are beatable, The Viking Front has changed allot and there secondary are getting old. The Bears have underperformed, but still a threat. The Packers of course are the complete team in the 'Black N Blue' Divison....

We could split some divisional games. Still no Super Bowl plans for me!

Go Lions!

I didn't watch much of the draft. I'm shocked Carolina took a QB #1 who will not be able to complete a pass in the NFL against an NFL first team D his first season. Cam Newton is way too crappy a thrower to put in a game.

How the hell will anyone run for 50 yards against the Lions  They are going to feast on RBs...

I actually like Christian Ponder to the Vikings. I think Ponder is going to be the best QB out of this draft.

I will go ahead and call it -- Reggie Bush to the Bears. He would make them sick on offense... Personally I'd like to see him go to Seattle but they traded for a RB last year (Marshawn Lynch) so they don't really need Reggie.

If not the Bears than you know Al Davis will sign him....:yesyes:

My Bears don't need help at RB. If they are going to pursue anybody it should be Chad Ochocinco. Chad himself has said that he doesn't see himself playing for the Bengals in 2011 now that they drafted AJ Green. The Bengals also drafted Andy Dalton so it's clear that they plan to blow the team up and start over. If I'm the Bears, I'm calling the Bengals to see what they want for Chad.
