So you guys think this was a good pick??? are you saying that if the Lions get a couple of CB's and the secondary is actually decent to pretty good, that the Lions could have a PIMPIN DEFENSE for a change??
I think I would actually watch the lions if they had a GREAT DEFENSIVE unit too put on the field... the next step for me too really be a fan of the lions is too win a fuckin playoff game FFS.. that would be nice.. :bowdown::glugglug:
If the Lions ever get a DB that can cover anybody so that they can let the D-line loose it could be special. Then again it's the Lions so something is bound to break.
I wonder if Cam and his dad were making all the "thanks to God" comments before daddy was shopping his son around to the highest bidder? Or if Cam thanked God when he was stealing the laptop?
I understand people can change and I really hope Cam is genuine, I just ain't ready to believe yet.

Quinn being there at 14 was a godsend for the Rams. What a D-line they are building! Now they need to pick up a good wideout in the second round, maybe a CB or safety in the 3rd. Lions also building a helluva D-line with Suh and Fairley. Yikes....scary to think about.

The Lions should be better, but not this much.
They still have to keep Stafford healthy, so they need some O-line help badly.
Stafford is made of glass. I don't think a solid Oline really fixes that. He doesn't know how to take hits and he doesn't know how to fall. Cutler was sacked 60 times last year and he didn't miss any time.
Not until the NFC Championship game. And the Bears have a decent running game with Forte to help Cutler.
The Lions have next to nothing, because Best can't gain yards on his own. He only averaged 3.2 yds per carry last year. If Stafford does not have to provide "all" the offense while he is playing, he might prove more durable.
I really do understand the Nick Fairley pick, but a Offensive Tackle or Mark Ingram might have been a better pick. But they may have their eye on the LeShoure kid from Illinois.
We have enough curses! LOL! The D line should be very impressive and even better with Fairley. We need to pickup another LB and DB in the later rounds and have some better play with Carpenter and Peterson this year.

I heard my Steelers mentioned as being "in the mix" & I believe I almost vomited when I heard it!
On another note, I just heard that a judge granted the owners a stay on the previous order that lifted the "lock out"! No word yet as to what the owners plan on doing &/or if they plan on re-implimenting the lock out or not! This came only hours after teams opened their doors to players and resumed basic football operations.

I think he was a reach at 7 but the guy has got all the tools to be another DeMarcus Ware. He can play down-lineman, outside LB or drop back in coverage. He's quick as hell on an outside rush. Problem is, he's a really raw talent. I think he'll be terrific but not for a year or 2. I was scratching my head when they picked him to be honest. Here in Houston, they had him penciled in as their pick at 11 which is probably about where he should have gone....maybe a bit later as you said. Good luck with him....he's got all the talent in the world but someone needs to coach him up quick.

The 9ers traded up with Denver to draft QB Colin Kaepernick out of Nevada. Another guy I don't know much about. Lol. The Lions? Really? ....... Really? You do realize that the Vikings, Bears & The Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers are in the same Division, right?
I'd say Detroit still has a long, long, way to go :nono:
