Spain takes the lead, dammit!!
I don't see the Krauts losing to Spain, but it's bullshit that Muller got another yellow and is out. It was another poor call for the refs this WC.
Spain against Germany! Will be a good match, hope we take revenge for the EC2008, but after todays win against Argentinia there will be almost no doubts. Great atmosphere here, 38 degrees and just a big party with everyone included. Just saw a couple of our French neighboors, who drove across the border to Germany, waving German flags out of their car. Never saw something like that before, gives me goosebumps!

Coincidence or not, the two teams who would have someone run naked through their country's streets had they won it all lost in the quarterfinals.

Absolutely. I'd like to see a Germany vs Netherlands final.
I'm sorry to see Argentina out, but not surprised or feeling that bad about it. I was hoping to see some of the magic of Messi and Tevez, but I guess it wasn't meant to be this time.
Germany played a textbook game. They had an unbreakable defense, swift counter-attacks (blitzkrieg-style), sharp passes and accurate shots. Argentina had no clear strategy, and every time they made it to the German box they seemed unsure what to do next, and either lost the ball or shot it weakly or off target.
Germany certainly deserved their win. Whether they will be world champions is another question; there is still some room for more surprises.
