I was amazed and dissapointed at the same time when I saw teams like Brazil, who didn't play the kind of football we all loved. They just needed a few minutes in the game to score their goal(s) and then they just hold the result. Effective, but not spectacular like in former tournaments. I guess this is just the modern football today.

It's not nearly impossible. But both teams only needs a few chances to finish a game with victory. Their enemies need an early goal, then maybe they'll get confused by it and don't know how to react. And both are weak in their defense.

Well, in the final in 1990 between Germany vs. Argentina, Guido Buchwald was able to put Maradona on the chain and our team won due to his good work.

I think if we can do that with Messi, the team of Argentina will suffer a lot and the outcome will be really open.

As to Brazil: Netherlands is playing the most professional and effective game in the whole tournament, and, as I understand, they have a secret deal with FreeOnes headquarters, which sits in Amsterdam. There is some baby-oil and a lot of hot female booty involved :nanner:

I do hope that Ghana get all the chances it needs to make a goal or two. The team should set on counter attacks against Uruguay and always have an eye on Forlan, because they can run very fast.

Unfortunatly not, Greece tried that in the group stages and still ending up losing 2-0, too many good players in the side.
