I want the Netherland to win but Brazil is looking strong at the moment so I think it be tight. I say Brazil.

Before the tournament I backed the Germans and the Dutch. Dutch people are good people, how they haven't won a World Cup is beyond me, they deserve one.

They have a "romantic" kind of play, made of smooth and elegant moves. They sometimes forgot to bring some testosterone on the pitch.
A guy such as Van Bommel is quite unusual in the dutch team : Harsh in his tackles, constantly harassing oponment players when the ref doesn't look at him, doing his best to get his opponment so nervous that he will crack under pressure and do something that would guarantee him a red card.

They also tend to be too confident about themselves, so much that they will show off instead of playing efficiently.

Off topic but, but...why on earth haven't the people of the Netherlands renamed that fucking place?? I suppose it has some practical meaning for the country's etymology but the Netherlands???? Sounds like whoever came up with that name didn't really like the place.:1orglaugh

Brazil are my favourites for winning it so they should progress from here.

The Dutch defense is pretty weak and they have been guilty of giving away
penalties against weak teams.Brazil have been strong all round and Kaka is
starting to come to form at the right time.

So my prediction will be 3 - 1 to Brazil

At the start of the tournament I thought Holland would maybe win the whole thing but after watching them in the 4 games I think Brazil will be too much for them. Would love to see Brazil v Argentina final.

For example someone from Scotland for example can say they are from Scotland, The United Kingdom or Great Britain.

I always thought they were called the Netherlands because of their elevation below sea level.
