i dont know where they are getting their info...but bama has 13 national championships...followed close by ND ......more than any other team i might add...i hope they are not paying for that info:dunno::wave:

:facepalm: Hmm. Maybe you should read what those links in depth and try to comprehend the reasoning behind them first:dunno: I know you think Bama dominated college football since 1868 and through 2010, but, sadly, that isn't the case :surprise: :weeping:

On a different note. Lookee here who made the cover of Sports Illustrated :wave2:

uh oh. SI cover? the jinx is on :crying: or they could catch Lucky, he's got lucky charms.

did you read where TCU is spending 100 million to renovate their stadium and it will REDUCE seating capacity? According to the Houston Chronicle article, there are more Longhorns, Aggies, Sooners and Red Raiders living in Fort Worth than there are Horned Frogs grads. Dang, in your own city you rank 5th in fan base. In their defense the student body is less than 9k students. let the seating reduction begin...

True, Bama only dominated a few decades during that time. ;)

Hard to believe that it's almost time to kickoff again, where did the Summer go?

They are probably going from bleacher seating to stadium seating. Just think how much those stupid arm rests and cushions reduce overall capacity.

1925, shared with 2 other teams. 1926, shared with 4 other teams. 1930, shared with Notre Dame. 1934, shared with Minnesota. 1941 shared with 2 other teams. 1961, shared with Ohio State. 1964, shared with 3 other teams. 1965, shared with Michigan State. 1973, shared with 4 other teams. 1978, shared with 2 other teams. 1979, shared with USC. That leaves 1992 and 2009. Wow, talk about domination.:rolleyes:

Now granted, almost every pre-BCS National Title was a shared title. The point is that an NCAA National Title in football is a mythical title. I have no doubt that in some of those years that 'Bama was the best team in the country. Without a playoff it's all just mythical BS.:2 cents:

How many of those Alabama championships (among other teams) came while segregated, playing almost all their competition in a conference that was mainly segregated, and in a system where they voted for the national championship before the bowls so in essence giving the illusion of the team and conference being better than they were for playing equally weak competition? it could be argued that recent decades are better at determining the quality of the team and more emphasis should be placed on them.

Almost All

13 count em .............:clap::wave:

Princeton, 28. Yale 26. Count 'em. Yes, most of them are prior to 1920 but they are just as valid as any of Alabama's.

The point is that they are all just fiction. The NCAA itself does not reconize a champion that division.
