^^ To Boise? I doubt it.

To Oregon? Maybe, but wouldn't it be hard to do based on what OSU did to the U and what they did to the Ducks in January?

The question is, how far up is Sparty going to go?

Florida got exposed for what they really are, a highly talented team that hasn't gelled and that hadn't been tested against an elite team. They failed that test in Tuscaloosa. All the mistakes they'd made in their earlier games came back to haunt them in this one, but this time their talent couldn't carry them to a victory. Florida is probably going to drop into the 20s in the polls after this, and Alabama will have a stranglehold on the #1 spot for the foreseeable future. There probably won't be any movement in the top 5 as each team there won.
With all that said, my Golden Eagles are on a roll since failing to show at Columbia.

Well, muh Gators lost by 25. They'll probably get killed now for the performance. But before we go overboard and say Florida is toast, let's consider that we actually outgained Alabama in that game. More yards (!!). The turnovers set up just about all of Bama's points. We shut down Bama's offense in the 2nd half. In fact, it wasn't even close, we were the better team in the 2nd half. And when South Carolina loses to Bama next week, everyone in the division will have at least 2 losses but us (except Vandy possibly, but who the fuck is worrying about them). And we got Carolina at home. So we'll see Alabama again in December, and if we can learn to not turn the ball over, we got a shot on a neutral field.

What the hell happened to UCLA's defense against Wazzu?? That was not a convincing win at all. Btw I've been waiting for Brehaut to get a shot at QB, he wasn't all that great but I think he might at as well got a shot, wtf has Prince done, other than get injured every 5 seconds. And I really thought USC was gonna punish Washington. And how about Oregon finishing that game on a 49-10 run. Just like the Tennessee game.

Let's face it nothing happened to UCLA defense.UCLA is not for real.I'm not saying they got lucky when thy beat Texas,it was just "ANY GIVEN SATURDAY"what you saw was the real UCLA team they beat a weak Houston team and a rebuilding Texas team that has not found it niche'yet.

What a performance by the Spartans. They coulda won by more. Michigan's defense is a joke. Ohio State is they're usual self. Teasing Big Ten teams till the end when they pull away.

Michigan will face a Michigan State team that will hit them in the mouth. They are physical and playing smart football. Most of all they have a cause to win.We will see how "For Real" this Michigan team is.:glugglug:

Les Miles and Derek Dooley should be embarrassed. Les Miles is a complete dumbass. His time management skills are ten time worse than Mack Brown's counting skills. That was just terrible. That and the Ole Miss fiasco. Florida should be able to pummel LSU next week at home. Key words, 'should be able to'. I'm not putting it in the bag just yet.

Two team that is not play good ball on offense.Flordia and LSU Final score 14-10 in favor of Flordia only because LSU is overrated and has nothing.I take that back they have talent but no coaching and they have to deal with a pissed off Florida team.

I still see no reason Miami doesn't win the ACC. In fact, they have a good shot at going 11-1. But they usually have a few disappointing, flat performances that result in losses.

I think there are 5 real good non-BCS teams out west. TCU, Boise, Utah (who btw are all in my top 8), Nevada, and Air Force. I think they all could beat Arizona, USC, Stanford, etc. Except Oregon in Eugene in all likelihood.

florida didnt shut down nothing...nick called the dogs off..bama dont run the score up..unlike some teams ..we finished the game with 3rd unit..you kidding me:rofl2:...and bama hasnt beat south carolina yet..they got a damn good football team..auburn and south carolina is the strengh of our run...i will take a w in either one ...damn the score and the yds..give me a w..thats what counts ROLLLLLLLL TIDEEEE ROLLLLLLL

Smoknn you have come a long way since last season.Like you said take the Win,you know just as well as I do South Carolina and Auburn will not lay down for 'Bama.if they do get a lose it will come from one of the two.:glugglug:

after yesterday...tenn looks scary..if sounth carolina and auburn is not enough..now we got tenn..(pissed off)...tenn has had a bad year..now if they could knock off bama..all tenn fans would be happy as a siiss:eek:y with a dick

What do you think about facing D Rob next Saturday? I know MSU should probably have a million yards on our D by the time the clock gets to 00:01:)mad: well, maybe the game will be over when it's actually over this time since the clock keepers are from UM) but how do think DR will do.

I think he will HAVE to pass and our receivers should be ready. MSU has the best athletes on defense we will see so far this season.
New polls are out: AP poll and USA Today poll :computer: :2 cents:

UF only dropped to 12?

I wish there was a way Boise St. and Oregon could play again (not in the title game though:o!!!). I hate both of these programs.

What a great college game! Some awesome upsets.

Will USC be ranked this week? Should they be? I don't think so.

Will Florida be in the top ten? I don't think they should be.

Oregon should be #2 this week. Ohio State did not look good.

Tennessee got robbed. How stupid of them to have 13 guys on the field. I really wanted LSU to lose.

My random thoughts for this day. Thank you, you've all been a terrific audience.

I suppose the sun shines a little brighter, your g/f or wife looks as good as the day you met...the dog is back to being your best friend now as opposed to the target for your foam brick and it even seems like you get better gas mileage when your team wins..eh, L/D?:o

New polls are out: AP poll and USA Today poll :computer: :2 cents:

first reactions

Utah is not a top 10 team (but they will crush Notre Dirk in Nov)
Oklahoma State is not a top 25 team
Wisconsin is not a top 20 team
Michigan is not a top 20 team
Stanford's ranked below Michigan in the coaches poll. If those two teams were to meet I'd bet my house, my car, my big screen tv, my big brother's house, his son, and smoknn's sister on Stanford.

A little nervous. I guess I should hope for 1999 again. But Robinson scares me. Maybe Dantonio should pack a few more nitro pills for this game.

Yeah...that is pretty much bull about Stanford....I certainly don't think Florida should be ranked ahead of Stanford. They played a good game, lost momentum and lost to the no. 3 team at their house.

I know our defense isn't even as good as a decent high school's defense...I do think we ought to be ranked in the top 25...maybe 22 - 25.

Double edge sword...you win..you could lose MD. Every time you guys win a game you probably shouldn't ...he ends up in the hospital.

You lose..you get MD back on the sidelines looking like he just found out his best friend is fucking his wife in the ass.

You mean because the Irish won? I didn't watch most of their game. I'm officially Irish neutral this year, as this is a total throw away year with a new coach, a quarterback playing his first season, an undisciplined group used to the previous, ineffective coaching staff. If they win, great. If they lose, I'm not surprised or upset. Meh.

The point is, there was a lot of really fun football to watch.

Take it easy. And look at the points.

Meh. I still think Ohio State at #2 is a fucking joke.

Missouri doesn't belong in the top 25 either. They'll be seriously exposed when they begin conference play. I wish it was not the case since I am a Tiger fan but I am also a realist. The polls are a total joke, always have been and always will be.

Besides, in the end it won't matter. There will be Alabama and then there will be whomever gets to be their sacrificial lamb in the NC game. No one in the country comes close to matching them talent-wise....sorry y'all but there's a huge gap between #1 and everyone else this year. Pretty boring to be honest. Oh well, at least I have a chance to see if the Hurricanes can run the table the rest of the way. History says they won't but that's the hope I'm hanging onto right now.

About how I feel about Florida State.Alabama vs Ohio State that what they want and we will be stuck again with TCU vs. Boise State:facepalm:

How is Auburn 8 and Arkansas 11? Arkansas' loss to Alabama is alot better than any of Auburn's near losses to above average teams. (No South Carolina doesn't count. They're 'signature win' came against Georgia. Who is 1-4. The Southern Miss win is actually a more impressive win at this point.)

I had Florida a tad lower. Miami should be a tad higher. Michigan State at 17 is a joke. They're undefeated, just like Auburn and LSU (numbers 8 and 12). And their win over Wisconsin easily outweighs any wins by those teams.

When is the last time UM and MSU played and were both ranked??? When is the last time they played both as undefeateds???

The coaches must be high. Cuz they obviously didn't notice Northwestern almost lost to a horrible Minnesota team. And how is Texas still at 26??

Kansas State deserves to be higher than NU and Missouri.
