Fucking Texas pulls off a come from behind win against UNC. Basically two guys making ridiculous shots all over the place.
 At least the freshman are looking alot better but damn it Roy Williams, play Kendell Marshall!!!
--Duke demigod Kyrie Irving is OUT. Indefinitely. Coach K confirms it. Will this weaken the Devils? Possibly. Does this give Ohio State hope? Definitely.
lol, demi-god. He is the best ACC PG since Ty Lawson but OSU looks to be the team the most stacked now with him out.

I am so happy :D. I hate Duke like the British hate Americans.

...more so actually.

My upset pick for today: UCLA over #18 BYU

UCLA is so hot and cold. Losses to VCU and Montana, but a win over BYU and a shafting against Kansas. I see no reason why they couldn't contend for the Pac-10 title.

Good call. Florida's defense totally knocked KSU off-balanced all game long.

That was awesome. I'll take great defense over great offense anyday. And btw that loss to UCF ain't looking so bad right about now.....

What the hell...?

--The UIC Flames are officially the best team in Chicago. I mean Illinois. They ended a losing streak, ending a winning streak, and gave first-year coach Howard Moore a win against a ranked opponent. At one point, the Flamers didn't empty a field goal for eleven minutes. Plus they've ranked low in most Horizon League stats. And the other ranked team they've played--Pittsburgh--womped them by 43 points. If the campus at UIC sinks into Hell, I think we know what happened.
--Ohio State Frosh Fenom Jared Sullinger scored 30 points to lead the Buckeyes in a win against a QUALITY opponent in SC. More impressively is that OSU out rebounded the usually board-busting Cocks 44-35. Coach Darrin Horn credited Ohio State's experience...forgetting JS is still in baccalaureatte courses.
--Give props to the UCLA Bruins for offing the ranked BYU Cougars 86-79 in a game that was dedicated to the late John Wooden. Wooden could not be reached for comment, as he is presently coaching God's Good Guys team in Heaven.
--The Zags beat Baylor in an "upset" involving Baylor 68-64. Bears coach Scott Drew gave the 'Dogs all the credit, adding "After all, we're only Baylor. Dammit."
--Finally. Kansas freshman Josh Selby gave his best impression of his hero Gene Simmons following his team's victory over USC:

Florida continues to drive people nuts - they get a marquee win against Kansas St., only to shoot themselves in the foot with a 71-68 OT loss against Jacksonville. Shooting under 36 percent and committing 17 TOs is something Billy Donovan will always shake his head against.

Congrats to the UConn women's team on setting a new record for most consecutive wins in Division I hoops for the men's and women's side - I certainly expect their win streak to increase by the end of the regular season.

How 'bout them Trojans...getting over on Tennessee AGAIN this time with a bball win @ Knoxville! The Vols are SC's bitch...:thefinger

I gotta feeling Cal is gonna upset Kansas tonight.

Kansas barely escaped against 2 Pac-10 teams already, and those were at home. And I got that 25 point victory at home over New Mexico for Cal on my mind.

(Couple days late, but) Coach Mike Krzyzewski has now tied Dean Smith's record for most career wins. 879, in 2nd place! He's definitely going to catch Bob Knight. :D

Krzyzewski can pass Smith by beating North Carolina-Greensboro at the Greensboro Coliseum on Dec. 29. That would leave only Bobby Knight ahead of him, as Knight passed Smith with 902 wins before retiring almost three years ago.

Meanwhile, kudos to Austin Freeman and his 24 points as the Georgetown Hoyas top the top-heavy Tigers 86-69. JT III praised the Memphisers even as the Cats seemingly recovered from the beating they took from Kansas earlier. Memphis coach Pastner blamed the defense. Hmmm...what a jump!

Early on in the UConn/Pitt game. Gibbs gives. Walker is walking.

Coach K has a 776 point lead over Something Somewhere U. Looks like he's gonna be #2. But 902 wins is still a while away, coach!!

I'm really impressed by San Diego State so far this year - looks like they could be this year's version of Butler.
