It was a perfect ending to a great opening week of college football. Saving the best game for last.

The Seminole War Chant was rattling my walls for the past 4 hours. The atmosphere felt intense. My only criticism is I kept waiting for the camera to show that crazy Ibis hopping around and dancing in the Miami end zone....the Ibis Pwns :thefinger

This just in the ugliest mascot ever:rofl:

Some great news about Bradford, he's only going to be out for 2-4 weeks, and he doesn't need surgery. :nanner:

Here's the video;

That is great get him so rest and that ship will be right Now Titsrock we can get down with this Ohio State-Southern Cal game I'm going USC 45 Ohio State 24 one touchdown coming late to make the score look respectful but stranger things have happened.:wave2:

Of course the season isn't over but could you imagine getting upset by UCLA at the Coliseum in the first game of the season? You not only have to suffer with that all off season but the whole regular season too??

I hear what you're sayin' but Florida State can get some state revenge by taking out the Gators....

It's farcical to even think that the bruins would ever stroll into the Coliseum in Week 1. :thefingerIt takes them 12 weeks to "grow a pair":thefinger

I thought you were a Gator fan:confused:

I am. That's why I said its good for us! and I just was saying the U! because they played great. What a game. The management of that game showed the coaching problems of the noles though.

Oh okay I see you are right about that that last minute was a bitch.

^^ It was crazy too. I tell you what Jacory Harris is a man! He seems like a good kid too after his interview with Erin Andrews. I could tell that whole interview he was thinking, "damn this is that smokin hot girl who was nude on film." Jacory has a great future. He has a good arm. I think he is the next big african american QB in the NFL.

Re: USC vs OHIO STATE

I swear to God, if it all comes down to him, he will find a way to beat the Trojans one way or the other. He's a machine and he's really not looking to those west coast homos coming to town.

:1orglaugh
Your Buckeyes have lost six straight to those "homos" :1orglaugh

I wouldn't mind if every OSU game had its own thread.

Now why on earth would you want Oklahoma State to have its own thread for every game, BI??? :D

Wow...what a game that was:bowdown: Phew...it was back and forth..:bowdown:Jacory Harris:bowdown: What a clutch player. I now see why those QBs transferred out. The U has their Q....

So many great plays. What a super game....

One of the best games I've seen in a LONG time....an instant classic. Back and forth all night long and right down to the last play. Hats off to FSU though....you can see where the talent level on both these teams is rapidly approaching their former status.

Harris is blossoming before our very eyes. Cooper....Benjamin....the speed on defense. It's all there. I don't think it's a stretch to say that Jacory Harris is s serious Hesiman candidate down the road (not likely this year but soon).

On a side note, Christian Ponder has the look of an NFL-caliber QB. Things look very bright in Tallahassee.

Randy Shannon has done an outstanding job of recruiting. And to think, most of these kids are sophomores and freshmen.

I've got a message to all the naysayers about the U....

We're baaaaaaack!

Well much to my chagrin I agree that Miami (FL) is back. But they're back in my eyes not so much for beating FSU as FSU makes it almost an annual rite to beat themselves in this game.

I think Miami is one of the most dangerous teams in the nation right now because of the undeniable speed they've added all over the field, Harris and their Dline is as violent as ever. Those guys just fucking get off blocks better than any front in the college game today, SC included IMO.

A defense can be as fast as the day is long but they can't swarm if they stay blocked.

I guess the good thing for FSU is if they hold it together they could have a shot a Miami (FL) again in the ACC champ game.

I'm often reminded of a very brutally honest quote by someone not connected with b***n football--Ricky Pitino.

Have you ever heard Rick Pitino go off on ucla football? It was really a bit harsh...
Referring to the high expectations of Bodie54 and ucla fans and media, Pitino challenged each to forget past successes in an almost embarrassing exchange of brutal honesty. "Cade McKnown is not walking through that door, fans. JJ Stokes is not walking through that door, and Sean Lachappelle is not walking through that door. And if you expect them to walk through that door, they're going to be penniless and insane. What ucla is today is young, exciting, hard-working, and we're going to improve. People don't realize that, and as soon as they realize those three guys are not coming through that door, the better this town will be for all of us because there are young guys in that (locker) room playing their asses off, trying hard to score a TD against SC every year." He continued, "I wish we had $90 million to toss at recruits. I wish we could buy the world. We can't; the only thing we can do is work hard, and all the negativity that's in this town sucks. I've been around when Kobe Bryant was booed. I've been around when (Tommy) Lasorda was booed. And it stinks. It makes the greatest town, greatest city in the world, lousy. The only thing that will turn this around, and give us a chance against Pete Carroll and USC is being upbeat and positive like we are in that locker room... and if you think I'm going to succumb to negativity, you're wrong. You've got the wrong guy leading this bandwagon."

 Wow...harsh words by Rick Pitino....

Most of those games in the 90's were close and very goodand to me J.J.Stokes was one of the best to come out of UCLA:thumbsup:

The question has come up can Barkely handle the noise in Shoe Saturday night.:dunno:

Probably adjusting after the travel will have it's biggest effect on him...I don't know if noise will be a factor. It can get pretty loud in the 'shoe though.

Most frosh have their biggest problem adjusting in road games in college because their not used to the distances and time zone changes.

You make a real good point I know it might be a real problem down around the student section but we will soon see I think this will be his biggest test of the season
