So, you're basically saying that it's time for Rodriguez to get sacked? Will Michigan make a play for Jim Harbaugh, Brian Kelly, the TCU guy?, an NFL assistant?....
I doubt he will see the end of his contract. Circumstance will (and are) encircle him...
Harbaugh is getting paid a 3rd of what RR is getting paid (no biggie, both signed for their market rates) but the more guys like Harbaugh win while RR has UM languishing at the bottom of the B10 the hotter his seat will become.
RR's mistake was in thinking just because he signed a 6 year contract that he has 5 or 6 years to win. Not at UM he doesn't.
RR has to give the impression somehow that UM is tangibly going in the right direction next season or won't see his 4th season in A2.
As it stands, a dramatic change for next season will have to present itself out of thin air on in the form of some surprise stars. Not only is UM less physical, less athletic, less fundamentally sound and less disciplined than at any point in our history, there are no game changers apparent on the roster there apparently aren't any in the upcoming recruiting class...(except maybe Devin Gardner).
Bottom line if RR expected to take this much time to get the job done, he should have rented instead of taking out a mortgage.
I couldn't tell you which direction UM will go if RR is fired. Bill Martin the current AD has tendered his resignation so he won't likely be in a position to make another decision. It will depend on who becomes the new AD, whether other coaches sign new contracts or extensions and if President Mary Sue Coleman is still there.
I know Harbaugh personally and he would be a great choice IMO.

It broke my heart when he left i think it should be some kind of clause in a first year coach contract just to give him a little time just to be fair after that time will tell.

on bamas victory.....our heisman trophy runner touched the ball 11 times...we played second unit the whole second half.....(which is about as good as the first).....i wished they would go ahead and give the little trophy to showbow and get it over with im tired of hearing espn give showbow a bj....he better pack him a big lunch for the SEC championship game ...bama is gunna stick that trophy up his ass :wave2:

Yeah until futher notice just give Flordia the title now by some freak of nature Alabama wins and goes on to win the NC I would shut the fuck up and give them their props until then i will never forget Utah and I know they won't either. Theysould have hung that in the locker room Utah 34 Alabama 17 just to get the message across.To be honest with you i'm still pissed off about that because i called every bowl game right last season except that one now if they would have shown up to play and not taken Utah as punks and that is just what they did their asses would have not been handed to them.Well the truth comes out.I feel a little better too Damn the tide win an important game the damn Mocs what a joke Bama could have beat them with their third team

with your team being 6-5 you sure do have a lot to say.....if auburn beats bama or not.....florida wont.......my team is 11-0....florida st hasnt played nobody.......and they still 6-5....if you will scroll back...i already said bama or florida better not look at it like auburn and florida st is a off week.....but..if florida st dont exspose florida.....bama will....acutually they didnt beat ark...the refs flag the winning td down the field for florida,,,so what ever happens in the auburn game.......we still gunna HAND FLORIDA THEY ASS :wave2:

Yeah I sure do and to be honest if you can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen:wave:Your team has a hell of a lot more talent than mine and for your team to be 11-0 it has been times where your offense has not shown up and another thing for your team to be 11-0 and is good as you say they are Tennesse should not have hung around like they did but we won't talk about that i could go on and on but i would be wasting both ou time and besides until they beat someone I'm still going to bring this up Utah 34 Bama 17 and yes it is still fresh on everyone's mind and i will be the first to tell you i was like everyone else in America Utah does not belong in the same stadium as these guys let along the same state but I should have known better if you don't respect the other team this is what happens so the only people expecting Utah to win was Utah and like you said true enough FSU is 6-5 and they really have not beaten anyone and even struggle against Jacksonville State yes Jacksonville State but the pressure not on FSU hell it is not on the ACC but in fact the SEC and living in Memphis I have to hear the BS everyday about how the SEC is the best conference in America but the way they have been playing I don't see it and it is not that I'm a fan I'm not going to pick sides I'm still going to ride with Flordia State and Ole Miss who by the way is back in the top 25

Guys, I understand UF is a good team, but they are NOT as good as last year, they lost several playmakers. And Bama is better than last year on both sides of the ball. Not saying the Tide rolls over the Gators, but I'm just saying... :2 cents:

True. Tebow willed them over Bama in the 4th last year. I can't stand the guy, but he's a player. But if you have seen him play since the concussion, he doesn't look "right." I can't put my finger on it, but he just doesn't seem to be the same gamebreaker. Combine that with the lack of big plays from the offense, and they are very beatable. Their defense is very good though, I'm really hoping for a 12-0 rematch of the SEC CG, it will be epic.:thumbsup:

Oh that would be great to see and like you said he does seem somewhat timid at times unlike he was last season during the Flordia State game I mean he is still a great player but he is not bringing the wood likr he use to.
