These are fucking GREAT! I have linked them all to my parents and wife. People who will truly appreciate them.

And as most others who "grew up" with Windows, they won't even be able to install a program....on the rare occasion what they want to install is supported. As soon as you say "command line" or "compile kernel", all but the hardcore geeks are lost.

W7 runs just fine on 256MB. It will gladly take every single bit you can toss at it (I have 8GB on it currently). I really recommend at least 2GB so the cache can do its magic.
