Funniest comedians/comedy specials

Could someone explain to me why people think Dane Cook is so funny? Add D.L. Hughley... I don't know where that guy came from. They both suck in my book.
David Spade is pretty sucky too. And Jimmy Fallon.

Different people have different tastes in humour.

Half the ones listed I could ***** through I find that unfunny. But other people love them :dunno:

Like all three you listed I don't understand. But have friends who love them.

I like..................

Jeff Foxworthy

Richard Pryor

and a few more.

I thought Tater Salad guy was high-larious... the first time. After tha his shtick got old pretty quick since the little bit of new **** he comes out with generally sucks.

I think a lot to do with what I find funny is the stuff that you wouldn't think about at first. Suprisingly, content is probably the last factor I look at. It probably goes like this:

1) Comedian's appearence/voice
2) Delivery
3) Content

George Lopez... before he turned into a whiny, PC, one-trick pony. Once upon a time, dude was mega funny though.

[NOBABE]Whoopi Goldberg[/NOBABE]... before she turned into a whiny (you already know where I'm going with it).

Bernie Mac was funny til the day he died. Still can't believe he's dead. :(

I always enjoyed George Carlin's wit and humor. Wonder how he'd fare these days though?

But the funniest of them all, at least in my lifetime, was the late, great Richard Pryor.

I have to go with Lewis Black. I think of him as kind of this generations George Carlin, because he points out typical everyday stupidity, and real life situations, and uses that as his base for the comedy, if that makes sense.

Growing up I liked Bill Cosby, George Carlin, Richard Pryor, David Brenner, Robin Williams, Cheech and Chong, and Joan Rivers and then the The Premium Link Upgrade Show debuted with Premium Link Upgrade , Vicki Lawrence, Lyle Wagonner, Harvey Korman and Tim Conway. Good stuff. Then Mel Brooks came along with Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein. Classic. Later then came Saturday Night Live with Chevy Chase, John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, Jane Curtin, Garrett Morris, and Lorraine Newman. Later you had Billy Crystal, Eddie Murphy, Joe Piscopo, and Jon Lovitz. A friend of mine got me watching Fernwood-2-Night with Martin Mull and Fred Willard.

George Carlin would be a NYC cab driver today because of the Twitter Glitter Squad Cancel Culture Fairies. Comics of today are gunshy to try out edgy material because of all the emotional hemophiliacs wielding cellphone cameras. People like Jimmy Fallon and Kate McKinnon are seen as the funny people today.

George Carlin went wherever the humor was no matter who it was about.
