Zeitgeist: The Movie (2007)

so this movie just rehashes all the old internet "everything you know is wrong" theories? Yes, a few of them predate the net and were in written form, but my point is that it's nothing new.

I actually saw this movie. the first about ten minutes.

maybe i'm notpicking here but the production looks like it was made by a highschool kid, not even a film student. what I saw was just a blank screen with a few special effects pulled from my windows screensaver and then a voice over of some guy inanely rambling on philosophically about why religion sucks. I allreayd have many books on the subject that do that same thing, so I din't really feel the need to hear more about it. the next segment was some ominous music dubbed over images of warfare. that's when I stopped watching.

someone told me that this movie changed there life, but it just seems boring and cliche to me, and i'm not really all that cynical. it actually presents factual information in an educational manner, or is it just mumbo jumbo like the davinci code w/o the exciting action? I guess I need to see it again.

Give it to me in a nutshell: no more Christmas?

Seriously though, I keep hearing about that Union plans with Mexico and Canada. What good would that do?

that's just a right-wing nightmare about those crazy pinkos up north and crazy brownies down south. you really think that the government would be in favor of a socialist union?

Good movie. The same thirteen blood lines still ruled the world.

The Federal income tax is a lie and the enslaving of the entire country. I've known and said that for a long time now. What are they going to do if enough people stop paying it? There's nothing they can do.

Zeitgeist - The Movie: Federal Reserve (Part 2 of 5)

Zeitgeist - The Movie: World Trade Center (Part 2 of 4)

Now if the History channel would show this movie....

Christmas is a huge money maker. So, it will stay.

So, they can join the unions into a one world government.

there's never going to be a one-world government, that is to say the perception of there being one, at least anymore than there allready is now. You can't have victory if there isn't anyone to defeat, so there is always going to be someone to defet, real or imaginary. the only way it could work would be a utopia, which will never happen, or a facist dictatorship which is too unstable because people will dissent when they are faced with certainty of having no choice (instead of no choice that is coupled with the illusion of having a choice.)

I would say that the attempts to create a "one world government" will always be there, but I agree with what you say calpoon. Our society is a warring society and without any enemies, there won't be any more wars to fight and that is utopian in nature which is only an ideal and not a plausible reality. And besides all that, war is big business that countries are not willing to give up that, kinda like why the U.S. won't try harder to get away from gasoline, but that's another topic.

1) World government? Forget it!

Even in a more or less culturally homogeneous EU, legislation is halted every other day by stubborn Poles and Cypriots.

2) World government? Wasn't that what FDR had in mind when he pursued the creation of the UN?

Oh yeah, he was a fascist asssholes undermining US interests...

3) World government? What's so bad about the idea, after all?

I'd sell my soul to the devil for a functioning UN.

As usual you are dead on DVC.Want to end some of the conflicts in the world than lets get together and bring down some of these man-made divisions is about the only way it would ever happen.I understand why some would resist on some level such ideas.A world that was united and run for benefit of all equally would mean an end to some advantages that the current system provides to a few and make no mistake many care much more about maintaining that at any cost then they do equality.Lets just take something like climate change ,only a united world agreed on the goals can deal with such a problem. But again that would mean certain obscene users of energy (mainly the US as well as the other developed industrial nations to a lesser extent) would be forced to sacrifice the most.Don't hold your breath on that happening.

Will this fucking intro ever end? It's so boring, get to the point already. :2 cents:

edit: Yup, turned it off. Sick of all those "visuals" wasting my time.

2) World government? Wasn't that what FDR had in mind when he pursued the creation of the UN?

right, and what did the UN ever do to change the world 50 years ago when people actually gave a shit about trying to do it? today they are even more impotent. Bush said fuck you to them and what did they do about it? yeah, france bitched a little bit and even after changing their position, they are still getting shit for it. so this UN world takeover conspiracy... I just don't see it happening.

Everyone always seems to focus on the fine details within the grey area of the 911 truth part or worse they focus on the religious part
The main thing to remember and to focus on is goverments of the world are all subservient to the people who run the fed, world bank , imf ..ect who are also the people behind the expansion of the UN, globalization is mainly for their gain. bailouts end up basically in their pockets at our expense.
And scarcity is the best thing for business. therefore business creates scarcity by design

false flag operations are a big part of history pre 911 and they will continue to be used to manipulate the masses until it is widely acknoledged as a teqnique that we are wise to

No steel frame building has ever fallen due to fire
all three fell perfectly strait and at freefall pace. this doesn't happen unless by design.

Saw it a year or so ago and loved it.

I also saw it just out of interest and the funny thing is that the makers don't offer any hard evidence. It's just some quotes and evidence from unknown "reliable" sources. But what's even more funnier is that for some people it's all they need, like "hey, it's on the internet so it must be true" :1orglaugh

More true than the bullshit they spew on the (NEWS)
And they want you to question some of the facts in the movie, so you get of your ass and look it up. The federal reserve act is disguised slavery, wake up!

I guess we're a bit more down to earth here in Holland. We don't buy a story of a group of elite, pagan tree worshippers wanting to enslave mankind :1orglaugh

They didn't give any evidence at all.

Sun worshippers that believe in the Luciferian Philosophy.

It's all too real.

The secret ingredient? MY BALLS
I've never seen this movie, but judging by a lot of the comments in this thread, I'm guessing it's a...it's a comedy?

it would be, but instead of actually showing the shit that they want to convince you of - like horned and fanged Jews spilling the blood of children upon an alter piled high with gold- it's just a boring guy droning on over a powerpoint presentation.

what you should watch instead is Poultrygeist
