Yea, baseball salaries need to come down to help with ticket prices and concessions ... imo anyway.
Of course all of the rich people from the sf area are going to assemble at AT&T.
I hate corp names in place of the original park names too, Stan.

I seem to be the only A's fan or Bay Area resident who actually like the Coliseum. If only the damn Raiders didn't tear the grass up half the year.
On a side note, I'm going to have to see if I can scrounge up some old photos of the Coliseum now.

I hear ya, we are close to that kind of variation between snow and rain.
30m + a year to the salary though made me very happy.
Why? The Marlins have been able to play outdoors all this time. What kills them though is the heat!

Speaking of the Marlins, did you hear that over the weekend they had a vuvuzela (horns used in World Cup) giveaway? It didn't go over too well with the teams.

The Blue Jays play roughly 85% of their home games in a dome.
Here's a picture of the new home of the Minnesota Twins. Target Field, in Minneapolis, MN. I haven't been there yet, but it looks like a pretty nice place to go to watch a game on a nice day.
