Your teams BASEBALL Stadiums/Parks

Why? The Marlins have been able to play outdoors all this time. What kills them though is the heat!

The Marlins are moving into a new retractable roof stadium soon because Florida is just too hot and it rains a lot. I would love an outdoor ballpark but I don't see it happening if the Rays ever get a new stadium.

LOL RAYS!!! COME JOIN US!!!

I'm glad were back to outdoor baseball. The Rays are the only team with a dome now since we got rid of ours this year.

New Twins Stadium is amazing, but not exactly high detail like that of kanses.

I've only been to games at the Homer Dome and Wrigley in my life. Too young to remember Wrigley.

I haven't been to Target Field yet. Looks nice and the light rail I hear runs you right to the front gate. One of my closest laid brick there before there were even seats. Can't wait to get to a game and get annihilated. :glugglug: But tix are gonna be a bitch this year seeing as how we're gonna win the Pennant! ;)

Petco Park here in San Diego. While I could do without the name, I love the park.

Yeah, too bad they're on the border with Mayheeco. :D

Actually, the more I look around, it seems like we're actually not on the northern border of Mexico, but rather on the southern border of the United States.

You mean northern border of Mexico, not southern border of America, correct?

No, I was implying that we are now Mexico pretty much, and that the US southern border starts north of here, probably somewhere to the north of Los Angeles. ;) Convoluded statement I guess, bad attempt at immigration humor.

Well, the whole border thing is a disgrace either way. Does it even exist anymore? :dunno:

My sister's best friend from HS is in SD now for good. I guess she loves it. I woulda loved it if I would've impregnated her fine Swedish-American ass, but alas, apparently the ocean is what she really loves. :(

I just hope she doesn't get raped by some illegal down that way.

Its a wonderful city, actually. I've been here for almost 25 years now and I really can't see myself living anywhere else, if for no other reason than I've become totally "pussy-ized" to actual weather. Too much above or below 72 degrees and I'm in real trouble. The ocean, the weather, the women, etc... Immigration/border/economy/Governator/Nancy Pelosi/Barbara Boxer/etc, etc etc... stuff aside, its my home and I love it.

Got ya. :hatsoff:

The first (and only) time I swam in the Gulf I got stung by a g'damn jelly fish. I haven't looked back since. Plus the salt water is unbearable to me. I know the bums can shower on the beaches and shit with all the showers (which sorta probably brings out skid row to those places) but I just can't handle it. I bet the weather in SD is nice though. A dry, 70 degree weather. Yeah, I could live with that.

Damn, we're gettin' off course. Sorry y'all.

Back on topic, up the road a bit from San Diego, is Lake Elsinore where the Padres' High-A affiliate the Storm play. Thursdays are $1 beer nights, wooo-hooo! :nanner:

Be careful on those cheap beer nights though. They water that shit down. At the very least it's probably only 3.2. In fact I think that's the law in my state at sports venues, so when I go to a venue I say fuck'em, I bring me flasky. :lovecoupl
