Your favorite Johnny Depp movie

My kids have forgiven him for Willy Wonka. I have not. Sleepy Hollow was fun but Ed Wood was where he showed off his acting chops.

Johnny Depp is the man.

It's weird, he has been involved in so many fine films yet my choice would be From Hell... I can't really say why, but something about his performance in this just draws me... cool stuff! Next would be Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas for me, but really you can't go wrong with all the above choices. :2 cents:

Blow
Pirates of the Caribbean
Once Upon a Time in Mexico
and my favorite

Secret Window

"Pirates Of The Carribean"
... because it was fun to see the PC-Adventure "Monkey Island" (anno 1991!) adapted on Movie!
And for sure no kid wants to be "Blackbeard" anymore on Halloween... they want to be CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow! ...for the next 50 years. Nevertheless he played such a GREAT role. It was awsome, it was fun, it was Johnny Depp in the role of his life!

"Edward Scissorhands"
...because without this film nobody would know him.

"Sweeney Todd"
...just cool, just fun, just awsome! No further comments!

persona non grata
I really like all the Tim Burton movies he´s been in but i think my favourite is Corpse Bride.

johnny depp as dillinger is ludicrous. worst casting since leo dicaprio as howard hughes

I first saw him in the TV serie "21 Jump Street"

Best movie:
Secret Window and Edward Scissorhands, I guess.

Oh wel, he is just a great actor, who doesn't need to live in Hollywood to go with the flow.
No, he goes his own way.

And he has a preety wife...:D

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
its not just my favorite Johnny Depp's movie its my favorite movie

He wasn't in Full Metal Jacket. He was in Platoon.

Perhaps you're confusing the two.

He was in Platoon which is also a favorite, but most of the scenes were cut out in the editing room. Oliver Stone however encouraged him to continue acting.
