You are in a bank - it is being robbed - what do you do?

I would only do as told.

My first full time job was at a Kmart in the cafeteria. When at orientation they asked the question if someone were to rob you what would you do. grrrrr They pointed to me first, just like school had been. So I truthfully answered. "I would pull the till, gather the twenties under it and secure them in it and hand it over. I'm not going to be a hero for Kmart and save them a hundred bucks." The head of security said "Good answer."

at a bank, nothing. In most bank robberys nobody gets shot so I would take my chances and do nothing.

I would do nothing. I figure if I take down one I'd most likely get shot by one of the others. If their was only one robber then I would try.

If they started to hurt innocent people then I'd probably try something. Cause who's to say I wouldn't be the next person to get hurt.

I've been in "hold ups" twice - not bank hold ups though (one was convenience store, other was gas station).

In both situations, I was able to get would-be-thieves to lay down their arms and surrender; performing a "citizen's arrest" as proscribed by local law.

take the guy down. ill prolly get something to bash him in the head, disorient him and then sock him in the nuts. ill grab his gun and take cover. by this time the other guys will have noticed me, but seeing as how i now have a gun(and im a good shot by the way) they have some trouble. i conserve my ammo, and try to get an alarm tripped so help can come, keeping them at bay.

this all depends on how many guys there are of course. i could hypothetically deal with 2 MAYBE 3 but any more and my ass stays on the floor

just let the guy take the damn money. especially if it's at a quik mart where the guy will get a whopping 50 bucks for his 25 years armed robbery sentance. there's no need to escalate the situation and put the gun toting idiot in a position where he feels like he's warranted to start blowing people away, just because you think that you are saving the world.

to qoute from the movie resevoir dogs "If it's a choice between going to prison and taking out some dumb fuck that's standing in my way, then that's no choice at all."

oh i know. realistically, im on the ground pissing my pants waiting for it to be over. i wouldnt do this, its just a plan that i could come up with. i could prolly do it with 2 guys, but the outcome would be 10x worse than i want it to be
