WWII PC Games

What do you guys think are the best WWII PC Games.
Call of Duty is mine. I'm curious cause for some reason I just can't get sick of killin Nazis. I'm anticipating the new expansion pack. Anyone have it yet. What do u think?

I was also very curious about another topic. A more serious topic. I was wondering (for those in Germany) how they react to these sort of games. I understand it was a dark time for Europe and I'm just curious to see how they feel about these sort of games. Anyone here have a family history of serving for the third riech? Just wonderin. What are your thoughts?

I still love Day of Defeat! Definitely the best multiplayer WWII shooter.

the best war game ever is operation flashpoint. not only because it's the most realistic battle simulator/ego shooter, but also because you can play every single conflict since WWI - thanks to the thousands of addons from fansites.
the graphics might be a little old compared to the latest war games, but concerning gameplay op flashpoint is still unbeatable.
i've been sticking with it for years and never felt the urge to buy another war game.

you should try it, jizm, but be careful....addiction is guaranteed

as for germans playing games where you kill nazis......well, it depends on the game.
sometimes it's a little bit annoying that the german wehrmacht soldier is still considered as the ultimate and everyones favorite bad guy. i mean, even among the officers you could only find a few true nazis, but among the grunts....no chance. they were like any other soldier in the world, following orders. so i usually prefer games in which you can play both sides.
my grandfather was in the wehrmacht and fought in Stalingrad. he was definitely not a nazi, but there was no way to escape from that regime, especially not as a german. people tend to forget that the german population had suffered under hitlers madness just as much as any other country. but i've accepted a long time ago that it was easier for the rest of the world to put the blame on ALL the germans. it's just the way of history, you know. sometimes it's a heavy legacy, but today i can only smile about the nazi concept of the enemy used in so many movies and games.

Day of Defeat, and i can't wait to see if DoD: Source will be any good

I've been to Germany once and I toured one of the camps still there, Dachau (sp?), and I've always kinda wondered how the Germans view their history.

Call Of Duty United Offensive is absolutely AWESOME!!! The graphics are top notch, and the action is non-stop. There is no question that the Call Of Duty series is the best WWII shooter for the PC. With that said I still highly enjoy the MOH series and am eagerly looking forward to playing MOH Pacific Assault.

I agree, Operation Flashpoint is a great game! Yes graphics from operation flashpoint isn't like graphics from call of duty. But that's becouse there's so much land. It's like the game makers created a small virtual country (like Monaco). Again it's a great game which you don't get tired of.

Did anyone notice, that the Call of Duty and Return to Castle Wolfenstein are very similar games (maybe becouse they were made by the same company)?

Wouldn't be great if someone made a porn movie with ww2 theme?? Imagine your favorite pornstar dressed in tight nazi suits (like in Wolfenstein game).
