^I know it's fake, but c'mon. Orton gets hit with a small ass wrench in the_back of the thigh and is down for like 5 mins. Cena gets hit twice, once in the ribs at that, and yet he still manages to take away said pipe and attack Miz with it, if that isn't a no-sell then I don't know what is. Fuckin SuperCena bullshit.

In my opinion, the only ones who should be able to no-sell hits like that should be Kane and The Undertaker. I know they used to do that...before they became "humanized".

back when the Wrestling buddies were out (who remembers those) i had the Hulk Hogan and Ultimate warrior wrestling buddy dolls. i miss those, altho in later years i grew out of love with Hulk Hogan once i went from child to teen

I still have the Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior figures that you pull the cord on [nobabe]the[/nobabe] back and they say something.

You cannot be a world beater if you are never in any danger. As bad as Hogan was as a wrestler, at least he had some ring psychology. How do you expect to get any sympathy if you "no sell" every big move? Hogan, Rhodes, Sting even Austin got over by making people believe that they could be beaten half to death and then come back. Ric Flair has sold more for referees than Cena has sold in his career.

I just heard about Randy Savage. That is absolutely horrible.
I have said for a long time that he was one of the best and most important performers in professional wrestling.
We were just talking about people who "no-sell". Savage was one of the all-time best at selling his opponents moves as well as his own. He always made his opponents look so much better with his help. He understood the right way to do the matches. I still believe that if not for Macho man, Hulkamania wouldn't had grown the way it did (and thereby the WWF wouldn't had grown to the popularity that it did). Their alliance as the "Mega Maniacs" and then their feud were some of the best of the golden age of WWF. So was his feud with Ric Flair, and earlier with Ricky Steamboat.
Randy Poffo (his real name) went to the same high school as me - but about 25 years earlier. He held the state championships in high school wrestling as well. I think he still holds some kind of record there. His brother Lanny Poffo (who also wrestled in WWF as The Genius) also went there.

I just got a somewhat cheesy (but also cool) image in my head of Miss Elizabeth holding open the golden ropes for him up there.

Rest in peace Macho Man

"Bonesaw is READY!" RIP Savage.

RIP Randy, a pioneer of the 90's wrestling a true legend of the game!

Hopefully, this Monday's RAW will be a Macho Man tribute!
:yesyes:
RIP Macho

i dont know how much of a tribute other than show videos and stuff of him.
nobody there today really wrestled or worked with him,so we wont get any funny stories and behind the scenes stuff other than stuff from vince unless they bring back or interview wrestlers from back in those days.

Well, Roddy Piper has revealed the reason Savage hasn't been seen in the WWE in a long time on twitter.

Piper Says What Happened Between Macho Man & Vince

Sometime around 4am EST which would be 1 am where "Rowdy" Roddy Piper lives in Oregon, he posted the following on his Twitter account

"Randy slapped Vince in a bar...End of that story!!"

Piper was sharing Macho Man stories on his twitter throughout the evening.

This of course is relevant because of the long debated mystery of why the Macho Man has never been seen on WWE television since he left for WCW after guys such as Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart and others have done business with Vince McMahon since their individual problems with him.

Another note to this, it is a tale that has been confirmed by different people over the years, when Kevin Wacholz who played Nailz physically attacked Vince McMahon in his office and of course never worked or was heard from in any way by the WWE since. So, if Piper's story is in fact what broke any and all relationship with McMahon, it would not be surprising as getting physical with the boss is just a line that can't be crossed or forgotten. Bret Hart obviously got physical with Vince after the Survivor Series in match but I am sure most including Vince would admit that is a much different circumstance.

The reason both Vince and HHH hate Savage is because back in the early 90s Savage fucked Steph while she was still a minor and he was like 35 or 40 or even older. There will be no Tribute.
