I would like as well. The WWE have two "powerhouse" divas in Nat and Beth and the rest are more "mat" style "wrestlers". A high flyer could give them something new.

Gail Kim is a high flyer... If they find someone like Nat.. That could be a great match.. If you seen alot of her matches from the first time in wwe and tna you would see some great moves by Gail...;)

But she messes up a few times. And I'm sure she was successful in TNA cuz of Kong.

Anyway, I missed the Smackdown debut on SyFy due to work. Should I watch a replay online?

It was nothing groundbreaking in my opinion. Watch if you want but you won't be out of the loop if you don't.

One thing that pissed me off (and probably doesn't bother anyone else in the least) was the new theme song for Smackdown. They're using this lame Green Day song. I think it's called "Know Your Enemy". I understand some of you are probably fans of that band, so don't take it the wrong way. I actually started yelling at the tv when I heard it in the beginning. I'm sorry but it sounds way too light, happy and cheerful for the show. It doesn't say "kick some ass". It doesn't fit at all. Better suited for The Hills, or some kids anime show. I guess it's just one more step into the catering of the child fans.
And you know how it is - you don't just hear it in the beginning of the show. You hear it throughout the show.

Ok. I did my new theme song rant.

EXCLUSIVE: Top WWE Star Considering Retirement; Details
by Nick Paglino
Oct 03, 2010

After speaking to a source in WWE earlier this evening, WrestleZone can now exclusively confirm that a top WWE star is strongly considering his retirement from the pro wrestling industry.

Out of respect to the superstar, who is still under contract with WWE, we will not be revealing his name at this point, however as the story continues to develop WZ will be providing more information. It should be noted that the wrestler in question is NOT Chris Jericho.

We have been told that the top star's contract is expiring with WWE in the very near future, and that he has several options on his plate outside of the pro wrestling world that he has a strong interest in exploring. We have also been told that if this wrestler does indeed leave WWE it will not be to jump ship to TNA, but rather to quit the wrestling business altogether and focus on other avenues.

WZ will continue to update this situation as it develops.

Here's something funny.

I'm watching Undertaker vs. Big Daddy V on disc 3 of the Undertaker's Deadliest Matches DVD as of this writing. Michael Cole, on commentary says this is the first time Undertaker and Big Daddy V have ever met.

The funny part is that on disc 1 there is a Casket Match with Undertaker vs. King Mabel.:1orglaugh

I guess Vince and maybe even Dixie, think that all wrestling fans are marks.
:dunno:

hell in a cell PPV was horrid...like really bad...they could of done all these matches on raw bad...only interesting thing is, what the wwe is gunna do with cena...top wwe guy retiring? could it be edge? their doing nothing with him right now

So, Smackdown has moved to a less accessible channel than it was at, and NXT is no longer even ON TV, but only available online at their site.
Hmm. Can't help but get the feeling the WWE has been losing money. If this is true, then the only thing that may be able to save it would be a return to the Attutude era instead of catering to the half-enthused kids who are only there for Cena and Mysterio. Even in those 2 cases I think they only show excitement during their enterances and then drift off during the match.
Seriously, does anyone else notice how uninterested the crowds are these days? Not that it's surprising. The shows just don't have "it" anymore. They have something, but it just lacks that extra something.

EXCLUSIVE: WWE Nixes 'Taker/Kane at Mania?, Cena, More
by Nick Paglino
Oct 04, 2010

As WrestleZone exclusively reported a few weeks ago, there are several options right now regarding plans for The Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

One option quickly being taken off the table in WWE is a match with Kane, as even Vince McMahon noticed the distinct lack of crowd interest in the Undertaker/Kane Hell in a Cell Match on Sunday night.

"Vince is the world's biggest Undertaker mark," a top level WWE source told us this evening, "but he's a bigger mark for Wrestlemania, and he's not going to jeopardize the show because of his fondness for the Undertaker character."

There are still discussions for Taker to wrestle Sheamus, and it was even brought up in a meeting with the writers today that Vince would consider Taker vs a heel John Cena with Taker's undefeated streak on the line.

We will keep you updated as this major story develops.

Cena finally turning...
(I can't wait to see how this plays out)

Paul Bearer turning on the Undertaker...
(Like we didn't see this coming from a mile away?!?)
Cena didn't turn heel, he lost the match so he didn't have a choice. Last night the RAW GM (which is still that damn computer) told him he had to do what Wade Barrett told him to do or he would be fired from the WWE. So Cena reluctantly helped Barrett win an 20 man over-the-top rope battle royal to determine the #1 conender for the WWE title at the next PPV.

I am interested to see how Cena does as the reluctant heel. However I suspected that would be the outcome of the match at Hell in a Cell.
