I was bored tonight so I caught a replay of NXT. Goddamn CM Punk is the most entertaining person on WWE. He made this show watchable (Well, that's not true. Half naked women made this watchable. Hilarity was just icing ontop of the cake).

The WWE is marketing Cena as "the face" of the WWE. They just redesigned his colors to keep the sales moving on his merchandise. He's the number one baby face, and does a lot of PR for the company. He's marketable, well spoken, and has a clean cut, all American image. It will be a long time until Cena turns heel.

Several sources have confirmed that WWE Smackdown star Christian has suffered a torn pectoral and will be sidelined for approximately 6 months. Christian underwent surgery yesterday to repair the tear.

Jorge "Giant" Gonzalez, a former member of the Aregentina Olympic basketball team in the 1988 Olympics, known to wrestling fans from his runs in both WWE and WCW from 1990-93, passed away today in a San Martin, Arentina hospital today.
Gonzalez had a run in WCW as EL Gigante, along with a run in WWE as Giant Gonzalez (including an early loss on The Undertaker's WrestleMania undefeated streak run) ,and stood a legitimate 7'6'' and weighing around the 400 pound mark.
Gonzalez was 44 years of age.
