Breaking News: Orton Suffers Broken Arm At Over The Limit?
by Matt Boone
May 23, 2010

According to several sources, the injury Randy Orton seemed to suffer that caused an apparent quick-finish to the match with Edge at WWE "Over The Limit" on Sunday was real.

Orton seemed to suffer some kind of serious injury, believed backstage in WWE to be a broken arm, according to a note on F4WOnline.com.

Oh no!
Just when he was reaching "anti hero" popularity not seen since Austin!

he is going to wear the cast on his arm for 11 years just like his dad did! :nanner:

I can't believe Orton got injured....now Jericho will be taking "his place" I'm guessing...but as a heel rather than an anti-hero.

And SmackDown on Friday was AWFUL.

why have swagger as your champ if your gonna make him look like a pussy.
i didnt watch the ppv i just read it but it didnt sound very good at all

Both shows are bad. And Orton isn't close to being Austin's persona. Just because he was a heel who did things to other boring heels to be cheered doesn't make him a comparable figure. Austin wasn't much in the ring after his neck injury, but he still was pretty decent. Orton's matches are boring, like the one he had vs. Edge at Over The Limit. Plus Orton isn't 1/10th as good as Austin is on the mic.

Maryse and Alicia Fox vs. Eve and Gail Kim

Back from commercial and Maryse is in the ring with her partner Alicia Fox. Out comes their opponents, Gail Kim and WWE Divas Champion Eve.

The bell rings and Alicia locks up with Gail. Gail goes to the top and takes Alicia down with a head scissors. Gail hits a spear like move in the corner and kicks Maryse on the apron. Gail goes for a roll-up but Alicia counters and tags in Maryse. Maryse comes in to kick Gail in the head and get a 2 count. Gail looks for a tag. Maryse goes to hit Eve but Eve counters and hits her. Eve is tagged in and unloads with dropkicks and a neckbreaker on Maryse. 2 count.

Eve hits the standing moonsault for a 2 count but Alicia breaks the pin up. The referee is distracted and Alicia runs back in and kicks Eve in the head. Maryse takes advantage, hits the French Kiss and gets the win.

Winners: Maryse and Alicia Fox

Still The match just sets up more story lines for the divas and Gail is moved close to the big spot..:nanner:

Identity Of The Tag Team That Attacked Hart Dynasty on Raw
by Nick Paglino
May 24, 2010

Several readers have sent in word that the tag team who attacked The Hart Dynasty on Raw tonight was Jimmy and Jules Uso from Florida Championship Wrestling. The Uso's are the sons of Fatu, and the nephew's of the late Umaga. The female with them is known in FCW as Tamina, and her real name is Sarona Snuka. She is the daughter of Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka. No word on whether or not their names will be changed now that they have been called up to the main roster.

That's funny, I say the exact same thing about TNA. It's a struggle for me to watch that show.

I think wrestling's hit something of a lull, which is weird, since the talent pool is pretty good. Both companies are suffering, and creative on both sides seem to be doing them no favors. TNA has turned into the Flair n Hulk show with oft-confused storylines. They don't seem to be able to make their minds up about who they are as a company. WWE doesn't seem to be taking the TNA threat seriously (it IS a threat, folks, however small) and has put together some seriously BAD crap since 'Mania. NXT is weak and needs to be revamped or scrapped. Prominent characters (Morrison, Harts, McIntyre, R-Truth, Mark Henry, MVP...to name a few) have the same tired gimmicks or no identities whatsoever. Feuds that should have meant something and brought some storyline to the weeks to come (Edge and Jericho, Edge and Christian, Punk and Mysterio) have been badly booked or sold on the wrong concept - I never want to hear the word SPEAR again - Nothing seems to change.

I completely agree. Both companies are in dire straits right now but IMO WWE is the more entertaining of the two and can keep my interest a lot longer. I'm lucky if I can get through the first half hour of TNA Impact.

Agreed. though, TNA entertains me a lot more than WWE.

WWE Souring on Drew McIntyre?
by Nick Paglino
May 28, 2010

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that original creative plans called for WWE Smackdown star Drew McIntyre to continue his undefeated streak all the way until he received a run with the World Title. However, it's now being reported that McIntyre has fallen out of favor with several WWE officials as he is said to be a high maintenance performer and he is not getting over as a heel the way WWE had initially hoped. As a result of this, the World Title run went to Jack Swagger instead of McIntyre.

^ Swagger is much better than McIntyre.
