Mark
a fan who believes wrestling matches and angles not to be scripted at all or not to the extent that they really are.[1] The term can also be applied to a fan who idolizes a particular wrestler, promotion, or style of wrestling to a point some might consider excessive.

OR master Gio "marked" out for idolizing or Loving the Ice Cream bars. which i should say i was a big fan of also.

Thank you.

and thank you  That's a great interview. I like him even more after reading all of that. He has a much better head on his shoulders than most wrestlers - or most people I know.

I know all the buzz is on the Punk/Cena match and then the Raw MIB winner (because it seems like a sure thing that who ever wins that will challenge Punk for the strap in the same night)but I think Punk beats the challenger and walks away with the title. I think this will happen for three reasons:
1 - It gets rid of the awful "Spinner" belt and Vince can introduce a new one
2 - With a vacant title it lets some of the mid-carders "try-out" for the main event spots while fighting for the title and getting some fresh ***** in the main event
3 - I feel the MIB winner will lose because in the promos they always stress how the winner Always wins the title. I think all that stress on it could be a setup for a swerve

I agree on all of this, but I'm only partially convinced on #3. For example, every year they push on about Undertaker's Wrestlemania winning streak, which would seem to suggest that he might lose...but then he keeps winning it. I know that's not the same thing, but the idea is the same.

does anyone who posts in this thread watch Golf? PGA tour?
the last 2 Majors (British open this weekend and about 4 weeks ago the US open)
i saw Shane McMahon on tv with VIP credentials at both events and he was basically the 3rd or 4th person the Tournament winner hugged/handshook/celebrated with. US open-Rory McIlroy British Open-Darrin Clarke.
i wonder what shane is doing there? just a fan of Golf? is he a representative of an agency or an agent of the golfers? i would love to know.

I like the thought process on all 3, but I think they stress #3 as ALWAYS so that it makes that MIB match that much more intriguing... After all, you would be looking at the winner as a champ-in-waiting... Of course, I would have liked to see Swagger lose his, but only because I dont think the guy "wants" it enough... just in it for the check.

Hmm some good predictions here... but here's my take on the whole thing

Alberto Del Rio wins RAW MITB, But you already know that!... He either cashes in today, tomorrow or announces a Summerslam match tomorrow on RAW. (If John Cena wins or Punk doesn't take the WWE championship elsewhere, that is.)

Cody Rhodes wins the Smackdown! MITB and, contrary to Del Rio, he hangs around with it for a few months, builds some heel heat using the briefcase as a prop/ item of interest, and cashes it in around Nov/Dec.

The Mark Henry/ Big Show match ends in DQ or no contest

Christian beats Orton and becomes new WHC

Punk beats Cena, takes the WWE championship to ROH or NJWP, no way he'll go to TNA, as this whole thing is probably part of an intricate storyline, think about it, Punk would most likely make ROH #2 and draw interest away from TNA, which is a win-win for ROH and Vinnie Mac.

Well, Christian won the title. They made him look like a bitch, but at least this shows they have a little more confidence in him as a top guy then they had when he lost it.

I think that was the pay per view that so many fans have been asking for, what a tremendous night it was. Leaps and bounds better than Wrestlemania and probably PPV of the year if WWE doesn't ruin this storyline tomorrow.

I hope they don't just make some stupid excuse next week like "Cena had a rematch clause and therefore Punk has to come back to defend the title or WWE can legally take it from him." For the first time in what seems like forever, I have no idea what they are going to do next and I actually want to tune into Raw.

I only wish when Punk was celebrating he went and let Colt Cabana hold it up.

I watched it on a stream and I was digging it. I missed the SmackDown Money In The Bank match, but I was shocked to see Daniel Bryan winning. I honestly thought he was down there with Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel as being the least likely to win. It's a pleasant surprise because he has been one of my favorites on SmackDown and is one of the best wrestlers in the WWE.

The Big Show/Henry match was a snoozefest, but at least it advances their feud. Then the RAW Money In The Bank match was okay, but I was somehow expecting more. I really didn't want Del Rio to win though.

The Orton/Christian match honestly got me riled up. Call me immature, but I honestly got riled up watching that. Christian is the biggest bitch in the WWE. I fucking **** the guy, and that's exactly how you're supposed to feel about him. As much as I liked Orton already, I like him a whole lot more after his post-match antics. Those table spots to Christian looked legit painful. And not that it matters on PPV, but Orton said "fuck" clear as day lol.

Of course, the main event was awesome, historic and the post-match scene almost made me *** my pants with excitement. That was without a doubt one of the hottest crowds I have ever seen. I'm all pumped up for RAW tomorrow.

Orton said "fuck" because the table wasn't breaking, and he, like he has in the past, threw a hissy fit. He's a man-baby.

As for the PPV, it's a IWC *****. Daniel Bryan won the Smackdown briefcase, Alberto Del Rio won the Raw briefcase, Christian is the new World Champion after Orton DQ'd himself, and CM Punk became the brand new WWE Champion. There's so many ways to go with this, too. I would love for them to bring in a new WWE belt. The spinner is god-awful.

This.

I was shocked, but delighted when Bryan won, he is one of the most talented and deserves this push... he probably won't cash in the MITB for a while and will hopefully continue to gain momentum for a few months, I'd like to see him gloat and become a heel, because that is when Bryan is at his best.

It was pretty obvious that Del Rio was going to win, and I am happy with that outcome, Interesting to see how cocky he is going to be after winning the #1 contenders match on Raw AND the MITB.

The Christian match ending was really clever and will continue to give him more heel heat, which is what WWE needs so desperately, a great heel.

It was definitely one of the best Pay Per Views I've seen in years and the fact that the Punk storyline just got so much more intriguing is the icing on the cake.

I'm still bracing myself for tomorrow, though, for the stupid mulligan/loophole they are going to pull to ensure Cena does not get fired.

He's an ass kisser, he can come back rather soon because of that, heh.

what if Cena is taking off like Shawn used to do for a month or so. so there will be no Cena around? Cena has been going full 100% for how long now as the top guy? maybe he is "fired" and takes a month, month & 1/2 off to rest and recuperate, recharge the batteries type break.
then 2 months from now he comes back by some vince call back because the WWE has gotten "out of control" with CMpunk at the wheel as champ?
possibility?

I read a rumour online that Sin Cara has been suspended for 30 days for ********* the Wellness Policy and that is why he was so quickly removed from the MitB match last night. Funny, I assumed it was because coordinating such a big match with a guy who can't speak English would be difficult.

seems like he wants to back to cmll

I only saw the main event but good stuff! I am actually, for once, curious to see where it will go. I hope they don't fuck it up.

I think WWE is doing biz w/ ROH like they used to w/ ECW. I would love to see Punk drop that ugly belt in the trash on ROH. Then have new belts made by the WWE.
