I missed RAW this week, forgot it was a 3 hour show and was too busy playing DC Universe Online. I haven't watched Smackdown in a very long time, only glimpses of it here and there. I gotta say, I don't miss any of it.:dunno:

I'm probably gonna watch RAW next week because it will be at it's regular time slot but I'm not excited.:dunno: I don't feel like I'm missing much.:dunno:

The Rock says one thing and does another. when Cena says he's gonna show up, at least he does. love or or **** him, Cena keeps his promises.

Cena keeps his "promises" because he's being payed and is binded by contract to do so. Let's get real, neither the Rock, Cena or anyone else in that locker room or alumni will probably ever show up without being payed or plugging some product.

Also, the two movies that you mentioned are WWE studio films, I'm sure they worked around Big Show and Cena's schedule, Rock is under other studios, I doubt they give a crap about his wrestling schedule. I agree that yeah he disappeared and is only appearing to fans in the form of social media like Twitter and Facebook but Cena isn't holier than everyone because he shows up, the guy's under a full time WWE contract so he is obligated to do so, Rock was probably only signed for a few appearances. The Rock shouldn't even be appearing anymore anyway, they can't rely on one guy who doesn't even wrestle, to carry the show. You got your payoff from the Rock with Wrestlemania, now you need to move on with newer talent.

I haven't watched a minute of WWE since they made the decision to take the title off of Christian so quickly. That was just the straw that broke the camel's back to me. I'm not going to waste my time watching a sub-standard program or pay out the ass to watch a horrible PPV. I still read the results and everything, but I've got better things to do than watch uninteresting PG wrestling.

yet Big Show made Knucklehead while having a full road schedule and Cena did Legendary having full schedule.

In case You Missed his infinite interviews, he's retired. He wrestled non-stop for six years. It wears you down, traveling, and missing ******.

Secondly, Big Show did one movie, and that was a WWE film. Which can be produced in WWE's own studios. Same for John Cena's films.

mr. jizz pretty much sums up the rest I want to say. Either way, I'm sure John is a nice guy. But his movies bomb and his wrestling style is terrible. And there's fans who somehow enjoy it. Whatever floats your boat.

Capitol Punishment Main event = one of the worst match endings I've ever seen, R-truth was on a roll and getting over with the crowd and that ending made him look so weak, and of course Helpless Cena was getting pummeled for the majority of the match until he turned SuperCena and walked out with the championship.

Overall that was a D for Capitol Punishment not a complete failure, but it felt, once again, like a Sunday night version of Raw/Smackdown, Ziggler vs Kofi, Punk vs Mysterio and Christian vs Orton were good, the other matches were meh and Cena vs Truth was just bullshit. There was also no variety, whatsoever, pure singles matches, no tag team/triple threats/specialty matches of any kind... boring.

I don't even know why I watch anymore, I sometimes even dodge my girlfriend's or friend's invitations to hang out just to watch WWE on Sunday or Monday. I'm tired of being let down over and over again. I have even less of a reason to watch if the rumors are true and CM Punk is leaving when his contract expires. It's a shame, they have so much talent that I want to see as main eventers but WWE can't leave their Cena and Orton comfort blankets and try anything new. This R-truth angle was a good way to build a fantastic heel, he didn't even have to win, he just had to lose respectfully if WWE didn't want Cena to drop the belt, but to have Truth lose to a 7 year old made him lose all credibility, sometimes I just don't get it  /rant

i am so mad that i spelled HERE...HEAR. what an idiot i am!

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
R-Truth is fucking awful. Jebus Christ, I didn't think anyone could be worse than Michael Cole.

Captain Charisma as a heel. :surprise: Say it ain't so.

Call me crazy, but as of late, I love The Miz. :shy:

Great job on the mic by the awesome one and Christian. Two of my favorites.

^What's wrong with R-Truth? He's a better heel than The Miz imo (more original gimmick, better promos and more violent).

That main event tonight was nice, as was the 2 out of 3 falls match between Ziggler and Kingston. Are they disregarding the fact that Autin ****** Ziggler to drop Vickie?

Christian and Truth segment was really fun.

Punk announced he's gone after July 17th. I may be pending to stop watching Raw all together then, if he does in fact leave.

I'm thinking it may just be kayfabe (storyline). I doubt WWE would really allow Punk to put that much emphasis on leaving, and they're pushing him way too much to allow him to leave on bad terms. He beat Cena and Mysterio, so looking back on those two victories AND the fact that he's getting a title shot all point to that this may just be storyline. I'm thinking he wins the championship, then he "leaves" and refuses to defend it.

If he does leave though, that is really going to suck, the only popular heel they'll have is the Miz, I loved the R-Truth angle, but I can't even take him serious after that bullshit ending at Capitol Punishment. Alberto Del Rio is also a heel, but he isn't a true bad guy/ evil heel, he hasn't done all that much to make himself evil, running over someone doesn't really count when the majority of the audience doesn't give a **** about the person getting run over.

Exclusive: Backstage Update on CM Punk's Future, Cena Angle
by Nick Paglino
Jun 20, 2011

As seen on Monday Night Raw tonight, CM Punk announced that he will be leaving WWE after his contract expires on July 17th, which is the day of the Money in the Bank PPV.

After speaking with several sources, WZ can confirm that as of this writing, Punk does indeed plan to leave the company following the PPV, and he has not signed a new deal with WWE.

This does NOT mean, however, that it's guaranteed Punk will actually leave following the PPV, as anything can change between now and then, and has in the past.

Two years ago, when Jeff Hardy was finishing his last run with WWE, he had informed management on a number of occasions that he would be leaving the company on a certain date. But because he was such a hot commodity in WWE at the time, officials did their best to accommodate Hardy, and were able to re-sign him to contract extensions that saw him remain with the company for several months after he had initially intended to leave.

In the case of CM Punk, it could play out that the current angle between him and John Cena draws better than expected, which could lead WWE brass to step up and offer Punk a bigger money deal to remain with the company. It's no coincidence that Punk has been putting a tremendous amount of effort into his work recently, in what I would guess is an attempt to prove his ultimate worth in WWE.

Last month, WZ was the first to exclusively report that Cena requested to feud with Punk this summer, in an attempt to persuade CM Punk to re-sign with the company after his contract expires. One source noted to us tonight, "in a way, this angle is a test for both management and Punk. For management, it's to see how well he can draw at the top, and for Punk it's a way for him to gauge whether or not WWE fully backs him as a main event player."

The Triple Threat Match was awesome, but why was the ref wearing latex gloves?
:wtf:
Does anyone really care that the Divas title changed hands?
Anyone know who's the hot chick that sits by the time keeper?

Hmmm interesting... there's no doubt that Punk is going to draw in his own hometown, but hopefully the rest of the viewers will have a positive response to him. It'd be really great to see him beat Cena in Chicago, one of the best cities for Cena heat. Money in the Bank may just be the best PPV to watch this year.
