^ When the Rock said "Wrestlemania" - First, I thought it was a slip-up on his part and that he meant to say 'Summerslam', then I thought he was making a joke - partly because of that stupid smile on Cena's face, but then I remembered that he makes that face all the time. And for just a moment I thought "Wait...wasn't Wrestlemania last night?...It was, wasn't it?...I'm sure it was...What?"
Then I was at a loss. I was seriously sitting there for a couple minutes saying "What?.....What?.....Wwhat??....Wwhat???......"
What are they going to do then? Move on to other storylines and then BOOM! 'Hey remember a year ago we said we were gonna have a match? Well it's about that time'...? I doubt the payoff would be worth a year wait. A month wait, sure.

Hahah +1, I'd rep you if I could. This made me laugh my ass off, I just realized he always does have that stupid smile.



But yeah like you said, it's gonna be really weird and awkward, what are they gonna do with Cena for a year? I doubt he's gonna stay in 1 storyline for a whole year, he was involved in like 5 or 6 of them in the course of 2 months.

I think the ideal and better storyline would have been...

Cena- Do you accept my challenge Rock?
Rock- ..... (leaves ring and we never see Rock again)

9 months later....

J.r.- By GAWD King, Cena is about to win the Royal Rumble.

(Rock Comes out from underneath the ring and throws Cena out securing Michael Cole's win at Royal Rumble and main event matchup for the WWE Title, )

Rock- I accept your challenge Cena, If ya smellllllllllll what the Rock.... is... cooking.

It's kind of shitty, but makes sense. They're not going to put their "big money" match on a PPV like Extreme Rules or Over the Limit.

SummerSlam would have made decent sense, but can't have everything.

Now just hope they can develop other guys and build them a story for next WM. You know, guys like Punk, Ziggler, Morrison, Kofi, Sin Cara, Sheamus, Bryan, etc.

I felt much the same way. This should have been Summerslam's match.

The thing is I get the feeling the Rock is leaving for a yr to shoot more movies. So, this whole thing is just lame. I wanna see the match, but this summer! Oh and what happens if Cena gets injured (he has in the past a couple of times)!?

why the heck is wm28 in miami? they just had it in atlanta, go to another part of the country for heavens sake

Or even another country...just kidding, but I would love to see a Wrestlemania from the UK, I'm pretty sure Wembley Stadium would get over 90,000+. Unfortunately, we still have to live off Summerslam 92 and Raw/Smackdown tapings and minor title changes over here.

I think it would be a great idea to take Wrestlemania to the U.K. Fans from the U.k. always seemed really passionate.

i finished watching RAW last night on my dvr....
the whole WM28 thing was weird... is the rock gonna hang around the whole year? or is he going to come back a month or 2 leading up to WM.
i think you need to really get the storyline going longer than that. it just doesnt make sense:dunno:

Can't believe they are planning an event a whole year away already, especially given the fact Vince can't event plan events from week to week at the moment.

First, with this announcement it is like they said "forget about that main event last night at Wrestlemania. The Miz who???"

Second,If they announced this match around Thanksgiving/Christmas it would have such a buzz that everyone would be talking about it ala Hogan vs. The Rock. But our world is so instant grtafication that I feel that they blew a great opportunity.

I'm sure they did this so The Rock can pop up from time to time and promote the match while still making movies, but I just think it is too early
