Vince likes his cartoon characters and kiddie friendly programing, it's not going to change anytime soon. The Attitude era happened because at the time WCW was blowing them out of the water with the NWO angle. Until he sees TNA as a real threat nothing will change. TNA has better in ring talent but they have Hogan and Bitch-off running the storylines.

Of course no one actually expects any change to happen too quickly. I don't expect much change at all with that company.

It's all about money. That's the end of it. I wouldn't be surprised if they moved Raw to Nickelodeon or something like that.
I would imagine that they have sold more merchandise to the kids in the last few years than they ever sold before.
The PGWE is here to stay. If you want anything further than that, then it will be up to another wrestling organization to give it to us.

The problem with both Tna and Wwe is that they both fired the pro writers for the stories and they started their own writing... Vince does most of the ideas and storylines for wwe and Double J and hogan does Tna.

That is why the stories in both have went down hill...

Does anyone else think that Drew Mcintyre's entrance music sounds like "Turn the Page" by Bob Seger (but closer to the Metallica version)?
Every time I hear his music start up, I automatically think "Here I am, on the road again, There I am, upon the stage, Here I go, playin star again, There I go, turn the page..."
I thought it was a one time thing, but it crosses my mind every week.
...eh, I'm willing to bet I'm alone here.

Agreed. But, the WWE don't see that way. And, they prob "care" more about thier kid fans and the older/ hardcore ones. Sadly. :(

they forget that it was the hardcore fans that made what the WWE is today...spreading the word, people started to think it's cool to be a wrestling fan, the sick ass matches, the chants, the promo's...i mean, i'll still watch the wrestling product when nothing else is on...besides that, i have no interest in it, until something changes...

^ Yep. Neither of them want to put their egos aside (I think) and let anyone else give input. WWE "Universe", my ass.

i like how bishoff is saying only 10% of the wrestling fans are internet fans...ohhh dude, douchebag everyone has the internet now...this isnt 1990-1999...people wanna look at a product, guess what their gunna search it up on THE INTERNET...i love how bishoff just bashes the fan, "we know what you want, before you do"...you know what we want? bishoff has no freakin' idea what the fans want...we want you and hogan to GTFO and all these dinosaur's to hit the road and see young raw talent

The best part of Smackdown was when Nexus was beating down MVP and Kaval and Heath Slater elbowed David Otunga in the face on accident during the beatdown

I'm watching it now, and I couldn't resist the urge to address how cool this is (to me)!
Total vintage! The old WWF music, the old WWF logo in the corner of the screen, the old ring (a red, a white and a blue rope) with the generic WWF World Wrestling Federation logo (although it says 'Entertainment' not 'Federation'), the referees wearing the old uniforms (blue shirt with the bow tie), ring announcer dressed almost as if he's going to the prom in the 70's.
The space between the ring and the crowd is smaller - with the metal baracade instead of the black padding that they use nowadays, King Lawler (in royal garb) and Michael Cole (who introduced himself as Vince McMahon and Jesse "The Body" Ventura), both having to sit on the old metal folding chairs instead of their comfortable leather chairs, the whole scenery is classic WWF, right down to the graphics.
Mean Gene Orkerlund with his microphone, interviewing on the stage area like he used to.
Mark Henry came out to his 'Sexual Chocolate' entrance.
Also, remember, back in the day, they used to do this thing during the match where, in the corner of the screen, you'd see a promo of one of the wrestlers in that match, talking on.
Howard Finkel, Brooklyn Brawler, Harvey Whippleman...
Depending on your age, and how long you've been a wrestling fan, you'd either be getting a big kick out of it, or it would be meaningless.

Rowdy Roddy Piper, "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka, Cowboy Bob Orton, Slick, Brooklyn Brawler, Mean Gene Okerlund, Howard Finkel, Tony Atlas, George "The Animal" Steel, Arn Anderson, Gerald Brisco, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, The Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, Ted Dibiase, I.R.S., Tatanka, Ron Simmons (DAMN!), [the voice of] Lord Alfred Hayes, Tito Santana, Chavo Classic, Sgt. Slaughter, Mae Young, Good ol' Jim Ross,
Hulk Hogan (just kidding)
That's a lot of damn legends/hall of famers.
Michael Cole made me laugh my ass off when he was making fun of R Truth's entrance rap.
Also, the whole time Cole is seated next to J.R. and King. Sometimes his asshole persona is fantastic. Maybe I am a Cole Miner after all.

Piper's Pit/The last 15 min or so was pretty intense, imo. I enjoyed it a lot. Pretty edge-of-the-seat.
Overall, one of the best Raw's of the year. Again, my opinion.
