They probably won't have a MITB at Wrestlemania. I don't know for sure as I'm just guessing. The backstage word right now is that with 2 MITB winners, one of them will cash it in by SummerSlam so that they don't have 2 holding on to the case.

Of course things could change as well.

So just to clarify, the two MITB matches are for different contracts, right? Raw's can only be used for the WWE and SmackDown's can only be used for the World?

If that's the case, then I don't have much hope for Raw's match. With Orton and Edge in it, there is no way in hell Morrison or DiBiase or Bourne will win, and even if they did I doubt they would win the Championship. Now, if they could use that title for SmackDown, I could have seen one of the mid-carders win and challenge Rey. Not that I'd really want to see that or anything, though a Bourne/Mysterio match might be entertaining.

Bret Hart Posts Detailed Thoughts on Martha Hart/WWE Lawsuit
by Nick Paglino
Jul 01, 2010

Thanks to Meeks for sending this in:

Bret Hart posted the following blog on his Facebook page earlier today:

"I feel that it's ridiculous for anyone to think they are serving the best interests of Owen's memory or his children to pretend he wasn't a wrestler. Not only was he a wrestler, he was a great one and proud of it. I personally believe Martha Hart has done nothing to keep his memory alive and sadly, he fades from view a little more every year. I do suspect this lawsuit is more about publicity, ego, and small-mindedness than it is about pro-wrestling and all of those that are in it.
I know Owen was always proud of his body of work. His fans have never forgotten him and most of today's WWE wrestlers and hundreds of employees have never forgotten him. They speak endlessly of loving memories that speak volumes on what kind of person he was. I saw Owen on TV a few weeks ago against a young Matt Hardy and it put me in such a good mood all day long. Why would anyone want to prevent that? Martha needs to accept the sad truth that he's gone, but we all deserve to be able to salute and honor him for being the great man and the great wrestler that he was. I stopped caring a long time ago about what Martha thinks of me. We don't speak and I haven't seen Owen's children in 10 years. For what reasons, I couldn't begin to tell you. I personally found great inner peace by opening up to forgiveness and instead supported and encouraged current Hart family members now fulfilling their dreams in the complicated-but-astounding world known as the WWE Universe. She completely ignores the fact that Nattie Neidhart, TJ Wilson (Tyson Kidd), and Harry Smith all made a pact when their 12 year old cousin died that they would someday carry on the dream of wrestling in the WWE, this was years before Owen's death and I don't see any reason they should forsake all their dreams. I can't speak more highly of the dedicated, hard working WWE superstars of today.

Having worked with all levels of talent since January, I can honestly say that you won't find a more wholesome bunch of athletes anywhere in any profession. Owen would be proud to be part of what they all are. Martha can say or think whatever the hell she wants but the Hart family as a whole found a way to forgive and move on for the sake of the next generation's well-being. Just because Owen died doesn't mean the Hart legacy from Stu down to his wrestling sons and grandchildren has to die too. The best thing I can do for Owen's kids is take them backstage and introduce them to all the people who love and remember their dad. Owen is loved and missed everyday. Why Martha would insist they never know these people is sad and pathetic.

I believe Owen would turn in his grave watching Martha erase every single thing he ever did, all for spite. Martha Hart needs to celebrate Owen's memory as much as possible, not block it away forever. How stupid and selfish is that? In her own book, she wrote how even though she was angry at Vince, she didn't hate him and that she felt he was truly sorry about what happened. She had written him a letter in order for her to move on and be at peace. Maybe she should practice what she preached.

^ Oh great. I was hoping McIntyre was going to miss MITB. Now he's probably going to win.

Hope Barrett is back soon and gets his title shot, with the WWE stupidly starting NXT Season 2 right after 1, they really are running the risk of not getting over the new rookies and "Nexus" lol!

Barrett needs more actual wrestling time now though, not this run in bullshit week after week.

I wonder if they will turn it into an angle and Nexus will boast about it on Raw?

Report: WWE Tells Nexus Group Not to Sign Autographs
by Nick Paglino
Jul 03, 2010

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE has told the NXT season one group, now known as Nexus, not to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans. Additionally, they have been told to wear their armbands all the time, even out in public, to further the story line. It's being said that Nexus members are handling this by still being nice to fans when asked for autographs, but politely telling them they cannot sign them right now.

Big Update on Ricky Steamboat's Condition: Burst Capillary
by Nick Paglino
Jul 03, 2010

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat actually suffered a burst capillary which caused the bleeding in the brain. A recent angiogram revealed the burst, which turned out NOT to be an aneurysm as originally thought. At this point, Steamboat will be kept in the hospital for another 5 days, at which time he will be given another angiogram to see how he's recovering. It should be noted that WWE doctor's who examined Steamboat after Monday night felt that the injury was not sustained as a result of the Nexus attack.

WWE Pulls Nexus Mention, Bret Hart Support's Owen/DVD
by Nick Paglino
Jul 03, 2010

Several readers have sent in word that WWE.com has pulled any reference to the Nexus attack on the WWE Legends this past Monday night on Raw. This was most likely done as a result of Ricky Steamboat's recent hospitalization.

In a recent interview conducted for CTV.ca, Bret Hart said he supports WWE's use of Owen Hart in a recent DVD produced by the company. The following is an excerpt from the article: "Pro wrestler Bret (The Hitman) Hart said he supports World Wrestling Entertainment's release of a new video featuring his late brother, Owen, despite his sister-in-law's lawsuit against the company and its leaders, including Connecticut U.S. Senate candidate Linda McMahon.

In a telephone interview Friday with The Associated Press, Hart said the video that prompted Martha Hart's lawsuit is a tribute to his family and its long history in professional wrestling.

"It was done with really good taste," he said from his home in Calgary. "As a family, we're really proud of it and Martha's lawsuit sort of makes it seem like there's something bad or wrong about it. It's just a bunch of brothers and sisters celebrating the memory of the whole family."

Best wishes to the Dragon.

Wouldn't it be awesome if the new RAW GM is Bryan Danielson! Just hoping.

Get well soon CM Punk, he's the best thing going in the WWE. Smackdown needs you. I hope Serena is not done with the WWE.

I've been a Sheamus fan since day one and I know many of you hate him. I was just wondering if he's growing on anyone?
He's not horrible in the ring and he's decent on the mic. Plus he's still being booked really strong. Powerhouse with good speed. I just don't get the hate. We needed fresh blood in the E.

I never hated him. I just felt it was too early for him to be the champion, especially when there were other guys that deserved a shot. I kinda like him now.

Yeah he didn't deserve it that fast but who on the RAW roster would have fit in the Main Event picture at the time. RKO, Cena, and Trips was just getting so old. At the time who was the most deserving on the RAW roster? MVP? Miz? Henry? Swagger (Maybe Swagger)?

Yeah, I think he's awesome. People complain when it's Cena/HHH on top then they complain when someone new comes along.

Personally, I think Shaemus is brilliant, good heel and caught everyone off guard by coming in and doing well picking up the title. Hope Wade Barrett can do something similar...

Wade has that it factor a good heel needs. I couldn't careless about the rest of the Nexus. Well, Gabriel is OK but I like his as a Tito Santana type face.

I'd like to see Skip with another big man in a demolition type team.
