I remember when Jim Ross (prior to contract disputes etc) and WWE though TNA was "not a bad thing", seems now they've moved to Monday nights that isn't the case?

Personally, I think WWE needs the competition to keep ontop of things, this whole PG stuff is so poor, unless it goes people might be tempted to watch TNA who still have the balls to do more edgy stuff.

Nikkala made me do it!
All the big stars on Raw = more people watching Raw on Mondays
which = less people watching TNA on Mondays
which = TNA out of business if it works well enough

Thats what I've read :dunno:
and also = getting ready for Smackdown's move to SyFy in the fall

i thought raw may have been better but it still sucks after the draft

Bret Hart Update: Finishing Up After Toronto Appearance?
by Chris Cash
May 04, 2010

Bret Hart was on WrestleZone affiliate "Right After Wrestling" on SIRIUS Radio 98 to discuss his future plans, the Hart Dynasty, the "Hart and Soul" DVD release and more. During the interview, he said that he doesn't think he'll be making any more live appearances after the May 17th broadcast of Raw in Toronto. He did mention that he won't rule anything out as he's been enjoying his recent time on television. However, it looks as if his recent assistance in putting over the Hart Dynasty will be the last of The Hitman on WWE programming for a while.

WWE Fan Arrested For Threats Over Mickie James' Firing
by Chris Cash
May 04, 2010

A 22-year-old fan from Brooklyn, New York has been arrested for serious threats against the WWE and its employees. CTPost.com reports that Zavr Pegumbari was arrested Friday for calling WWE headquarters over 20 times last week, harrassing employees and threatening to blow up the company's offices.

Why? Simply due to the release of former women's champion, Mickie James.

Peygumbari is accused of also saying he would visit the building with a machete and a machine gun. His attorney described him as a "fervent wrestling fan who did not intend to follow through on his threats".

He was charged with four counts of fourth-degree threatening, one count of second-degree harassment and two counts of second-degree threatening.

Peygumbari's bond was initially set for $250,000, but was reduced to $5,000 due to him signing a written contract stating he would show back up for court. However, he is not allowed to go to any WWE events, contact their employees, or go near the Stamford offices. His court date is set for May 25.

Backstage News: Detailed Update On Batista's WWE Future
by Nick Paglino
May 06, 2010

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that although it is believed by many that the Over the Limit PPV will be Batista's final appearance with WWE, it is not yet 100% certain that he will be leaving the company at that time.

As we previously reported, Batista was said to be livid that WWE took him off an upcoming WWE Studios film and replaced him with Triple H, however, that does not mean he is definitely going to leave the company. It's being said that he is keeping his options open, and that while TNA might be interested in bringing him into the company, it's highly unlikely he'll jump ship as it would most likely be impossible for TNA to pay him what he's making in WWE right now.

Vickie is the new GM of RAW. RAW will still have guest hosts but they won't have any authority.

The only reason celebrity guest hosts come on in the first place is to promote their crap. That will continue.

What the hell does Buzz Aldrin need to promote? And for that matter, why have him host the one show where you aren't even in the country?

I don't know but I'm pretty sure he's going to promote something. Every single one of them has promoted something. In fact I think a couple of the former wrestlers even promoted something. The only ones that didn't I believe were Bret Hart and Sgt. Slaughter.
