they didn't have the divas champ match... damn...

Yeah it's getting pretty ridiculous. The word is that they don't know how to end the match so instead it's caught in limbo. Hopefully they'll have the match on RAW tonight but it's been over a month since the tournament started and now 2 PPV's. Some people are wondering if they're holding it until Melina comes back to challenge for it but I say they should just unify the Diva's Championship with the Women's Championship and have the champion on both shows like the Unified Tag Team Champions.

Mayse should be champ. She is as over as a heel Diva gets, and she is hot. WWE cares not for the quality of its women wrestlers anymore. All they have is Beth Phoenix and Mickey James. The rest are just peices of ass and should be used as such. Maryse would make an excellent valet.

How I long for the days of Trish vs. Victoria, and Mickey. Trish could work...

As far as the chamber goes, we knew Teddy was gonna cost Randy the match and we knew Kofi wasn't winning. Teddy isn't over so he was out of the runnning. Why Cena though? Why Batista? They have big enough names for a Mania feud without the belt. Triple H or Shamus should have walked out champ. I think the two could put on a hell of a match given that Trips likes Shamus and would sell for him well.

Smackdown was cool, I love CM Punk preaching during matches. R Truth, Morrison and Rey Rey all provided the flash and Jericho and Taker provided the story telling. Good chamber match with no complaints here.

Hopefully, the fact Sheamus lost the title shows that WWE realized that it makes no sense to headline WrestleMania with a wrestler no one has ever heard of. From a business point of view, at least Cena Vs. Batista has some sense of name value. And besides, HHH has been in too many main events.

Yes, Sheamus isn't championship material yet and should be nowhere near a main event spot but Cena vs. Batista w. Vince and Bret involved sells itself no need to give either guy another title reign. Sheamus is the only fresh face in the main event scene. A win in the chamber would have been huge for him. They could pull it off putting

Cena vs. Batista
HHH vs. Sheamus
Jericho vs. Edge (Which will wreak of awesomeness)
HBK vs. Taker (At this point Taker's streak is more prestigious than either HW belt. It will be the best match and should be the Main Event for two guys that deserve it)

In that order. It doesn't have to be the main attraction with a stacked card like Wrestlemania.

We'll know tonight whether or not the company leans in that direction.

I bet the fired pyro guy wishes it was just an angle. I bet Taker either beat the hell out of him or just scared the shit out of him, he gave him a pissed off look that's for sure.

There WAS a really good video of it on Youtube earlier but it was just taken down due to copyright issues or some shit like that.

I agree that HBK/Taker should be the final match. I don't even think Jericho and Edge could follow those two if they can repeat what they did last year.

Its kind of a shame that he will probably be fired over this, but really; when you are in charge of fireworks and pyro, you can't fuck up. End of discussion.

But, on the other hand, I think the writing staff should be fired as well. Pyro sabotage? That is so original.

MITB Qualifying Matches Set to Begin on RAW Tonight
By Marc Middleton on February 22, 2010

http://www.wrestling-edge.com/wwe-news/mitb-qualifying-matches-set-to-begin-on-raw-tonight.html

- WWE announced this afternoon on Twitter that qualifying matches for Money in the Bank at this year’s WrestleMania 26 would begin on RAW tonight.

It was believed that Money in the Bank wouldn’t be happening this year as the match will have it’s own pay-per-view later in 2010 but the match is still happening at WrestleMania.

All together now....

Awesome! :nanner:

Bret Hart Set to Win the WWE Title at WrestleMania?
By Marc Middleton on February 22, 2010

http://www.wrestling-edge.com/wwe-news/bret-hart-set-to-win-the-wwe-title-at-wrestlemania.html

Partial source: PWTorch.com

- Multiple WWE sources are reporting that Vince McMahon has decided to go a different direction with the Bret Hart storyline and WrestleMania. Believe it or not, the plan as of this weekend was for Bret to win the WWE Title at WrestleMania.

The plan as of Sunday morning was to have either Batista or John Cena walk out of Elimination Chamber with the WWE Title, which obviously Batista won. This should lead to Bret Hart & John Cena vs. Vince McMahon & Batista at WrestleMania with the person who gets the winning pinfall will be new WWE Champion.

All together now...

What the shit?! :fight:

I don't have any problem with Bret winning the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania. If that is indeed what's being planned. It's not like it's David Arquette and it would be a nice end to the whole Montreal Screwjob that's the basis of this storyline in the first place. After all the crap that Bret's been through with the WWE, WCW, losing Owen, having a concussion, having a stroke, and having some of the most ungrateful backstabbing assholes that he has to call siblings that I have ever read about. Getting the WWE Championship one final time is a nice send off.

I just noticed that, well, the Divas title match is between two Canadian women. No wonder no one in WWE cares.

And shit, Maryse is hot.

Wrestlemania's being built well, I think

Batista against who? Cena? That could be good at this point.

Jericho vs Edge - those guys will go through Hell to have an awesome match

HBK vs Undertaker 2 - just in terms of atmospherics, those 2 can dig down deep and give something memorable

Beyond that - well, we'll see

Lord Dipstick
Looks like Rhodes and DiBiase vs. Orton at WM.
Wonder which one will catch one of these?
