if you have a cable TV and have On-Demand the WWE is having a stone cold FREEview this month and its like 15 hours of shows and stuff from WWE classic (i guess the wwe channel)
i went in friday night and checked out what they have, not bad.
the main thing i checked out was the WCW nitro and WWE raw shows they had on there. Both shows were from the same day 1/26/98
WCW-was their 1st 3 hour monday night show,jj dillon banned the Jackknife power bomb due to Nash dropping Big Show on his neck the previous night on the Souled Out ppv.macho man was on a rampage going after Luger but also the whole NWO even though he was a part of it.goldberg beat brad armstrong in 4 minutes, and late in the show Nash powerbombed some jobber anyway and was arrested.macho and the NWO were fighting against each other and it was a blame game until Sting rappeled from the ceiling to clear out a few guys
watching this, every other wrestler that came out that night was NWO, it was so predictable but i dont know how the fans put up with it every show. i also remember this show pretty vivid and i sorta remeber exactly what happened.
WWE- was the week after stone cold and tyson had the fight In ring when austin gave him the double fingers.new age outlaws v cactus and chainsaw charlie.D-X hhh was to defend (euro title)v owen hart but instead golddust came to the ring dressed as HHH and owen beat him.DX came up on the big screen laughing at him, then slaughter as GM awarded owen with a win v HHH even though it wasnt him and awarded open with the european championship. nation of domination Mark Henry v. Shamrock w/ahmed johnson and DOA in his corner, ends with everyone fighting.
austin challenges tyson to a fight anytime anywhere
if i am correct this was when the WWE would have 2 monday night shows taped and 2 live. and this was a taped show.lots & lots of production pieces but still decent amount of wrestling.DX pretty much at their best (shawn WITH hair) austin just dead on great, also the beginning of the rock leaving NofD because him and farook were jockeying for the position every second
