Hey I like when The Great Khali comes out. He's got a really good theme song and it's a great time to dance.

You my friend the smartest Smart Mark. LOL

Smackdown is in shambles, and it was looking like the better show when it came down actual wrestling matches, but with all these suspensions, injuries, arrest, hiatus and sabbaticals there is going to be alot of overhauls.

BTW is the Legion of doom in the WWE hall of fame? If not, they should both be inducted next year (Animal excepts on Hawk's behalf or if he had children they should except his). Darren Drozdov should induct them.

Now that I think about it, since WWE brought back Chris masters, Rene Dupree would be awesome now back on Smackdown

if you have a cable TV and have On-Demand the WWE is having a stone cold FREEview this month and its like 15 hours of shows and stuff from WWE classic (i guess the wwe channel)
i went in friday night and checked out what they have, not bad.
the main thing i checked out was the WCW nitro and WWE raw shows they had on there. Both shows were from the same day 1/26/98
WCW-was their 1st 3 hour monday night show,jj dillon banned the Jackknife power bomb due to Nash dropping Big Show on his neck the previous night on the Souled Out ppv.macho man was on a rampage going after Luger but also the whole NWO even though he was a part of it.goldberg beat brad armstrong in 4 minutes, and late in the show Nash powerbombed some jobber anyway and was arrested.macho and the NWO were fighting against each other and it was a blame game until Sting rappeled from the ceiling to clear out a few guys
watching this, every other wrestler that came out that night was NWO, it was so predictable but i dont know how the fans put up with it every show. i also remember this show pretty vivid and i sorta remeber exactly what happened.

WWE- was the week after stone cold and tyson had the fight In ring when austin gave him the double fingers.new age outlaws v cactus and chainsaw charlie.D-X hhh was to defend (euro title)v owen hart but instead golddust came to the ring dressed as HHH and owen beat him.DX came up on the big screen laughing at him, then slaughter as GM awarded owen with a win v HHH even though it wasnt him and awarded open with the european championship. nation of domination Mark Henry v. Shamrock w/ahmed johnson and DOA in his corner, ends with everyone fighting.
austin challenges tyson to a fight anytime anywhere

if i am correct this was when the WWE would have 2 monday night shows taped and 2 live. and this was a taped show.lots & lots of production pieces but still decent amount of wrestling.DX pretty much at their best (shawn WITH hair) austin just dead on great, also the beginning of the rock leaving NofD because him and farook were jockeying for the position every second

John Cena is supposed to be the top face but like hardly anyone i know and from this board actually like him, tbh i cant stand his face, he just annoys me wif his move set and everything about him just pisses me off.

Linda McMahon To Announce Senate Candidacy Soon

The following is an excerpt from an article at TheHill.com:

WWE's Linda McMahon prepares Senate run
By Aaron Blake - 09/14/09 06:01 PM ET

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) CEO Linda McMahon appears primed to run for Senate in Connecticut and should make an announcement very soon, according to sources with knowledge of her deliberations.

“A decision is imminent, and she will likely make a decision over the next couple of days,” said a Republican strategist. “It will be made sooner rather than later.”

One well-placed source said McMahon is “99 percent” in. Another said the announcement could come as early as Wednesday.

The second source noted that she has done polling on the race and hired consultants Mike Slanker and Patrick Sullivan. She has also brought on former National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) spokesman Ed Patru to help with early communications.

Patru said McMahon hasn’t made a decision yet.

fuck me Cena won.......
Batista retiring? we could have only hoped but he only going to smackdown...
other than that i have no idea what happened last night i was busy watching NFL monday night football.
did i miss anything?

Trish did look awesomely hot! Love the darker hair!

As for Batista, sux he will be now stinking up Smackdown. Lame!

Trish looked amazing, and did a nice job both on the mic and in the physical aspects of the match.
Batista, much as he sucks, is needed on SmackDown! They need another babyface in a big way. I'd be surprised if 'Taker's 100% given the length of his Breaking Point match and the amount of work beforehand (none) and Morrison's going to be sucked into a program with Ziggler, who hopefully can recover from that crap-ass promo on the PPV. Pat Patterson? Who cares? Even Montrealers didn't care and he's FROM there...Matt Hardy can't carry the load, as he's just running off his brother's steam (can you believe the lard that kid packed on?). So they need him. He can work his usual brand of squash 'em. Hopefully he won't hurt too many up-and-comers. And hell, maybe there will be a trade announced for him. How the hell would he have gotten off RAW besides that?
I want to see how they explain the latest Montreal Screwjob on Smackdown this week. "Hello? WWE offices? Yes, 1997 called and they want their ending back".
Let it go...

WWE CEO Linda McMahon wades into Conn. Senate race

WASHINGTON – Pro wrestling executive Linda McMahon has never been shy about wading into the ring — and now she's plotting a smackdown of Connecticut Sen. Christopher Dodd.

World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. said Wednesday McMahon has resigned as the company's chief executive to seek the Republican nomination for Dodd's Connecticut seat, providing a show-business twist to one of the nation's marquee Senate races.

I might vote for her. I haven't liked Chris Dodd for quiet a while and think it's time for him to step down.
