Bret Hart Says DX Makes Him Sick; Discusses Hosting Raw, More

NZPWI.co.zi recently conducted a lengthy interview with Bret Hart where the WWE Hall of Famer discussed a slew of topics including Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, whether he follows WWE’s product, possibly hosting a future edition of Raw, TNA, if he’d ever wrestle again, reaction to his book, and more.

Article

While Hart will always praise him as a performer, he is not impressed with him and Triple H endlessly re-running the D-Generation X.
"When I see them I just want to put my finger down my throat; it makes me want to be sick," Hart said.

Me too. Two grown men with the mentality of delinquent children.

When asked to give his thoughts on TNA, Hart says "is good for the wrestling, but I'm not so sure about the ridiculous storylines. I don’t get it. But they have some great people, I think pound-for-pound A.J. Styles might be the best wrestler in the world today; he’s one of them anyway. That's for sure."

Ridiculous!? Bret you worked for WWF/WWE.

Hart vs Styles? Sting vs Hart?

(I think this is somewhat wrestling related)

More Details on Brock Lesnar Collapsing - In the Hospital

MANCHESTER - UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar is seriously ill in
hospital after collapsing in Canada, UFC president Dana White said Saturday.

"He's in rough shape, he's in really bad shape," White said Saturday after
UFC 105.

"He is not well and he is not getting any better. . . . He's very, very sick
and he's going to be out for a while. He's got a lot of problems."

Citing mononucleosis, the 32-year-old Lesnar was forced to postpone a title
fight against Shane Carwin scheduled for UFC 106 on Nov. 21 in Las Vegas.
The fight was pushed back to UFC 108 on Jan. 2, but that too has been
postponed.

"He's got mono and he's got something else wrong with him. I know what's
wrong with him, he just doesn't want me talking about it," White said.

"He doesn't have cancer or AIDS or anything like this, (but) he's got some
problems, man."

White said Lesnar was currently in a hospital in North Dakota. The
six-foot-three, 265-pounder owns property in Canada, White added.

"He dropped up there and had to go to hospital," White said.

He said Lesnar may have to go to the Mayo Clinic or another top hospital "to
figure out what's wrong with this guy."

"He's not going to be getting well any time soon," White said.

The UFC has other concerns with fighters. White said the newly announced UFC
108 main event between Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Cain Velasquez is off
because Nogueira has a serious staph infection.

"(It's) bad, to the point now that it's in his bloodstream," White said.
"He's probably going to have to be hospitalized and intravenously given
antibiotics."

Carwin is also out after undergoing knee surgery.

"It's crazy," White said of the injuries and illness.

"He made his reputation as a big, bad, unstoppable athlete but Ultimate Fighting
Champion Brock Lesnar is very sick.

The former University of Minnesota wrestling champion, and pro-wrestler, is
hospitalized with a mystery illness.

Ultimate Fighting President Dana White said Lesnar has an intestinal disorder
that requires major surgery, possibly at the Mayo Clinic.

A source told WCCO that Lesnar has a severe case of diverticulitis, a disease
where small pouches form in the digestive system.

Lesnar announced in October he was withdrawing from his upcoming title defense
match due to an unspecified illness. That match, originally scheduled for Nov.
21, was pushed back to January."

And here's the disease and what it does:
From Google Health: "Diverticulitis is swelling (inflammation) of an abnormal
pouch (diverticulum) in the intestinal wall. These pouches are usually found in
the large intestine (colon). The presence of the pouches themselves is called
diverticulosis.

Small, protruding sacs of the inner lining of the intestine (diverticulosis) can
develop in any part of the intestine. They are most common in the colon,
especially the sigmoid colon, the lowest part of the colon.

These sacs, called diverticula, occur more often after the age of 40. When they become inflamed, the condition is known as diverticulitis. Diverticula are
thought to develop as a result of high pressure or abnormal pressure in the
colon. High pressure against the colon wall causes pouches of the intestinal
lining to bulge outward through small defects in the colon wall that surround
blood vessels.

Diverticulosis is very common. It is found in more than half of Americans over
age 60. Only a small percentage of these people will develop the complication ofdiverticulitis.

Diverticulitis is caused by inflammation, or (sometimes) a small tear in a
diverticulum. If the tear is large, stool in the colon can spill into the
abdominal cavity, causing an infection (abscess) or inflammation in the abdomen.

Risk factors for diverticulosis may include older age or a low-fiber diet."

Also according to Google Health it is a "mild" condition that does respond well
to treatment. And the best way to prevent this disease is a high-fiber diet.

Looks like Brock Lesnar may not be eating his whole grains!

Here is their article:
Professional wrestler David "Kid" Cash, whose career includes stints in the WWE, ECW and TNA has been arrested in Johnson City on charges of identity theft, forgery and theft of property.

Johnson City Police arrested the 40-year-old Cash on Tuesday and charged him with four counts of identity theft, two counts of forgery under $500 and four counts of theft of property under $500. The identity theft and forgery charges are felonies while the remaining theft charges are misdemeanors.

Cash, who resides in Johnson City, is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on January 4. Cash was initially being held on a $46,000 bond, but the bond was lowered after a video conference hearing on Wednesday.

Investigator Thomas Dillard said the arrest stems from Cash using the credit card of a female acquaintance of his on four separate occasions without permission. Dillard said he used the credit card twice at an Appco convenience store, once at a car wash and once at a White’s grocery store.

The charges totaled less than $100. Cash, who had the credit card with him at the time of his arrest, admitted using the card and told investigators he had permission from the woman to use the card. Dillard said Cash and the woman did not live together. Cash lives in Johnson City and hails from Waynesboro, Va., about 20 miles west of Charlottesville. He began his wrestling career in 1990, was trained by Ricky Morton and Tim Horner and is best known as Kid Kash in ECW and the WWE.

Cash was released from the company in April 2005 after making inflammatory remarks on Wrestling News Live where he said he wanted out of the company due to his misusage.

Cash debuted in the WWE in June 2005, won the WWE Cruiserweight Title and teamed with Jamie Knoble for a while as the "Pit Bulls." The WWE released Cash in September 2007.

Since then Cash has wrestled in several independent federations, including Showtime All-Star Wrestling, Real Deal Wrestling and Southern States Wrestling. In addition, Cash will be involved in a series of of training seminars for Star Power Training in Manchester, England beginning in March.

Wrestling legend Steve Williams passes away

We are sorry to report the death of Steve "Dr. Death" Williams, an international star who was considered one of the top wrestlers in the world during the late 80s and early 90s, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Williams, known in his heyday as one of the physically toughest men ever to compete in the industry, was 49. He passed away last night. He had been battling the disease for a number of years, first apparently beating it even with great odds against him. It came back this year and his health had worsened in the last few months.

Williams formed two of the world's best tag teams with the late Terry Gordy and with Ted DiBiase Sr., as well as a notable team with current WWE Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis. He was in particular a major star in the 90s for All Japan Pro Wrestling. He was recruited into pro wrestling by Bill Watts and was the 1982 Rookie of the Year.

Watts discovered him at the University of Oklahoma, where he was a star lineman on the football team and a four-time All-American heavyweight wrestler. Many of his peers in wrestling over the years had believed if he had not played college football and concentrated on wrestling, that he would have been a strong candidate for an Olympic gold medal in 1984 or 1988.
