It's just a name for a genre of porn. A shemale can be both a person who has gone all the way and had their little buddy lopped off and fashioned into a vagina or like many of the shemales in porn have the penis still there.

I am a so called "shemale" and let me tell you, I hate how some men act like they could be with us if they just wanted to. I cannot believe someone said that we transition to have sex with the same gender. One of the most prejudiced things I have heard, but sadly a lot of men believe this myth. That we are just gay men trying to become women to have sex with them. No. Gender has nothing to do with sexual orientation. Gender identity is how you indentify yourself in the gender spectrum, irregardless of your biological sex. Many transsexuals are lesbians or bisexual, how would you explain this then? Transition is not about sex, is about a better life quality for yourself. The treatment itself in male-to-female trannies lowers the sex drive to that of biological women and even more.
I see all this people saying that we are just dudes with fake boobs, ie, we will always be male, etc. This is pure prejudice, nothing factual. Let me tell you something, what makes women look like women, is hormones. The hormones do a lot more than just grow breasts. They change your whole body externally AND internally, physically AND physchologically. I grew breasts like any bio-woman would, exept that my hormones came orally, and not from ovaries. However, that doesn't make the breast tissue I grew any less real, or the skin any less softer, etc. While is true that we retain a Y chromosome, so what! Plenty of women are born with vaginas and a Y chromosome. Plenty of people have chromosomal disorders. Let's stop being such bio-facists.
Some men suggested that option NO of this poll to be changed to "HELL NO," this is an obvious homophobic response. "No" is not enough to prove I'm such a man, it has to be "hell no." It's interesting how this people that are not interested in trannies get so passionate about it!!:1orglaugh
