Nah, I'd just blackmail them for sexual favors.
Google (cool look to their web site today by the way) is a beast that cannot be fed. I hate to say this but If you use the same user ID on any other forumn that you use here, someone interested could find out rather easily that dave_rhino of "ruffle the feathers of his enemies" for example and dave_rhino of "naughty sites dot com" are one and the same.
Nah, I'd just blackmail them for sexual favors.
Not judging you but you'd blackmale a guy for sexual favors?
Issue I had been thinking of.
If someone was on here is a politition, royalty, clergy etc, and they were in the public eye, it wouldn't take much for the tabloids to work it out. If there were rumours, I'm sure that a jurno would be signing up straight away and searching threads for anything very quickly. Once picking up on a common theme etc, a quick search of the persons previous posts would very quickly identify them. There will be little bits of private information that you'll have leaked that can be pieced together. Plus, there is IP tracking and trapping techniques that can be used.
For getting money out of someone, I don't think there is much chance, unless you sell your knowledge of the persons username to the tabloids. And even if you did, you'll get money for the name while the paper does all the forum searching so you profit would be small.
The talk on forums is often broad and naturally those that brag will probably call out some indication of finding someone first, alerting everyone else, and therefore decreasing the chances of exclusivity to tattling.
In other forums I use, there is often an option of deleting your previous posts. Something I have noticed that Freeones lacks. Maybe something that could be amended?
Ain't that the truth! The media already tells us too much about everything we don't need to know.
I'd rather them expose more government lies and cover ups.
Ain't that the truth!
I could care utterly less about celebrities and the institution the media has built around them. As I always say, the average American, let alone its media, is more facinated with the British royal family than the average British citizen or its media.
The media has always had its priorities pretty fucked up.
