How can you talk smack about hogan??? sure his wife is a bitch, his daughter a hoe, and is his son a dusche, but he MADE wrestling, without him there would be none of what is on t.v. today. Sure Vince had a lot to do with that, marketing and so forth, but he had HOGAN to market. I guess it took both of them, but still...

Agreed. Prior to that his gimmick had been kinda camp.
Shaved bald, given cool entrance music (which I've been searching for for YEARS!), a bodyguard and a heel persona he was awesome. Too bad they didn't go anywhere with it.
That was what made it the greatest heel turn of ALL time. This one event marked the beginning of the Wrestling Renaissance.
