Worst video game movie ever..

Tekken Blood Vengeance was pretty terrible.

Final Fantasy has sucked ass ever since they reached double digits. Meaning, everyone of them after nine was just fucking awful! Final Fantasy went down hill fast!

1. Super Mario Bros.
2. Double Dragon
3. Street Fighter
4. Bloodrayne
5. Mortal Kombat

I thought that the first Mortal Kombat was pretty decent.

There may be some truth in what you say, although I did warm up to Final Fantasy XIII after some time playing it -- and also because I lust after Lightning. If only she was real ... and in my bed. *Cindy stares dreamily off into space for a moment before snapping back to reality*

But I digress on that. There's certainly some quality issues that have fallen become apparent in some of the later titles, which strongly supports the argument against the idea of remaking Final Fantasy VII on a next-gen console. The graphics would be infinitely better, certainly, but would it be at the expense of what made it one of the best games I've ever experienced? I say it's better to leave well enough alone. :2 cents:

Oh damn, I wandered off the thread's topic. Here's this: "Final Fantasy - The Spirits Within" was kinda disappointing overall. Not horrible. It just missed.

Ever seen Final Fantasy: Advent Children?

I agree with you when you put it like, but it still would be awesome with some state of the art graphics on Final Fantasy VII, and maybe they can do what Capcom did with the remake of the original Resident Evil.

DragonBall Z count? It was a horrible live action movie and does have a video game line (which aren't that bad)

Re: FF:AC -- Hell yeah! Talk about feeling nostalgic. I loved just seeing those beloved characters from the game in action on screen. Amazing. Honestly, the plot was a bit tangled, but it was a TRUE Final Fantasy movie and I grinned like a little kid on Christmas morning through the whole thing. Now, I just gotta buy it on Bluray!

Re: graphics -- As long as the core story and gameplay remain the same, I would love to see PS3/1080p-level graphics. Ditto for Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil. Speaking of RE: I really, really liked RE4 and RE5, but the whole "28 Days Later"-style of zombie is not my cup of tea. Give me George Romero's brain-eating, shuffling, squishing-around-in-the-dark-hallway kind of zombie any time!! :zombie: :zombie: :zombie:

Street Fighter Legend Of Chun Li.
Seriously how in the hell does Neal McDonough play as M. Bison?

You should try the Resident Evil REmake for Gamecube.

You have no idea how much I want to!! I don't own any Nintendo consoles, and I have long waited to see if a Playstation port would come. But, alas, no. I've seen its trailer and scenes from the game itself, and it kills me I can't play it. :crying: I also want to play Resident Evil Zero. *sigh*
