Worst video game movie ever..

For the EMPEROR!!
It's reason I got a Gamecube, that and Resident Evil 0.

Ahh yeah. Now I remember!! The Gamecube remake. I did see something about that a while back. Something about it being the same game but with a few suprises thrown in (zombies in different spots) and better graphics.

See Resident Action 5 that's how the movies turned out when Paul Anderson got hold of them. See if Romero would have got hold of them like Capcom originally wanted (and also Shinji Mikami wanted) then his vision of the movies would have turned out like the RE remake on the cube. The way it was supposed to be. Funny how the film company only ever released to the net Romero's first draft of the RE script. And people bitch about it being bad in places. NO SCRIPT IS GREAT ON IT'S FIRST DRAFT. He wrote four different versions and they only released the first one. Release the other three for us to read then we can decide if he was the right one for the job. Don't be biased Hollywood. Romero himself once said "they didn't know what they wanted" and this is one reason why he parted ways with them. The producers for the first RE movie stated that if they wanted it to go down the horror road they would have stuck with Romero. RE is horror, ladies and gents. It's not fucking lame take it up the ass sci-fi action with some flat chested skank who has nothing to do with the series.

The Raven is a wise creature, even when it's infected with the Tyrant Virus.

DOOM, the film wasn't actually bad on its own but the game's is about Hell and Demons etc, NOT genetically mutated humans. The film didn't reflect what the game was about and I loved the game.

I am just calling it like it is my friend. That's all.

Who doesn't like the DOOM games?

Truth be told? I was a little disappointed with Doom 3 in that it's gameplay is basically Doom '93 all over again just with better graphics. It was 2004 when it came out I think. Ten years later. Not the same year.

I don't think I've played Doom 3, I haven't played Doom in ages.

I ain't looking forward to Rage either due to it being made by the same company. They may be good at making graphic engines but their basic gameplay mechanics are fucked. FPS games have moved on for the most part since they took off big time in 1993. Id Software need to realize this.

I remember taking a date to the cinemy, we watched 'Mortal Kombat'

Wow, that background music!!! Such a pain. The dialogues, as little as I remember were shitty, too.

But it turned out my date got so hot from watching the movie we just about made it home and the evening turned out very much to my taste, after all :nanner:

Would be interesting with a Doom in Third Person, of course not making it a replica in gameplay.

I'd say all of them pretty much suck. I was going to say "Bloodrayne" but at least the terminatrix chick showed her boobies in that one

And those guys throwing fireballs.

Yeah, that would be a killer movie.

I remember doing the "head dodging" thing while playing against those guys. :D

"Predator" for the Commodore 64.

"Star Wars - Episode I: TPM" on Playstation1

Just thinking of them make me throw up in my mouth.

I'm such a dumbass, guys, I misread the title of this thread. I listed two of the worst games made from movies, not vice versa. Jesus Christ ...

A bad video game movie (perhaps not the worst because "Alone in the Dark," "StreetFighter" and "Doom" were fucking redonkulous) would be "Wing Commander." Despite hottie Saffron Burrows trying her best to salvage that muddled teeny bopper-oriented mess, the filmmakers took a good story with good characters (from the games) and fucked it all up. And, worse, the movie starred Freddie Prinze Jr. and Matthew Lillard, god save the Queen...
