Yea and countless millions of peaceful members of the Russian Orthodox Church were slaughtered wholesale by the vehemently anti religious bolshies. Where is the proof that areligious/non religious people as a collective group are uniformly peaceful? they're not just the same as religious people aren't uniformly peaceful as a group.

The world would be a much better place without any of this religious bullshit.

Religion in and of itself isn't the problem, it's the megalomaniacal kooks who often hold high posts within the institutions, they're the problem. Religious extremism as an anti social behavior is actually rare from my vantage point, the rank and file religious people of any religion generally don't preach about the greatness of their system of beliefs, they mind their own business and peacefully go on their merry way.
