Working out

I have joined a gym, a month ago. Do I have to go everyday? Sometimes I just get too lazy to go...

It completely depends on what kind of routine you have. I personally go to the gym only 3x a week if I can, because I only lift every other day. If the weather is particularly nasty or hot, I'll sometimes go just to use the treadmill so I can get my jog in.

I love the c25k. ;-) If you want it on your mp3 player, check out DJ Beatsmith at Podrunner Intervals. All the cues are there. Works great for spinning on your own too.

In addition to the c25k he has an 8k and 10k interval series. Those two are both 10wk programs.

Sometimes when i come back from work i'd rather just play some computer games or chill, but then other times i feel like turning into the hulk and bench pressing my house.

Lately I've been getting up for 6 am lap swimming...the first few days were horrible but I'm over the hump and feeling good...best way to fight a cold too! (sorry to my other swim mates though) I need to find a new pool though, this one is turning my hair green!

Whilst high heels make some women look extra sexy, any foot specialist will tell you high heels are very bad for your feet so using them on a treadmill could lead to big trouble, Ember. :2 cents:

some friends and me have been doing the Men's Health TNT workout for about two years now. we just ad lib phase 3 now and mix it with our boxing routines.

i really like it and it doesnt take too much time from your day. if you have a weight problem then you can couple it with the TNT Diet. I'm trying to gain instead of lose so I can't really speak to the effectiveness of the diet but the workout routine is pretty damn good. as far as cardio there's nothing like hitting the hills of san francisco 3 times a week to test your mettle

here's a brief run down of it

It's up to you how often you go. You're the one who paid for the membership. If you choose to sit at home and eat Twinkies all day, that's your prerogative...

I hit the gym atleast 4 times a week now. I take a walk to my gymm, its about a mile away. Wonder if this would be enough to avoid treadmill?!
As per BMI(21) I don't have any excess fat, can I skip my Cardio exercises?

If I did I probably would be too busy getting some to watch porn, better yet post on a message board for porn.

Walking 4 miles a week (as long as you're getting your heart rate up) is just as good exercise as running. In fact, it's a lot friendlier on your joints.

The fact is, not everyone enjoys jogging/running but I think some type of cardio, even low impact like walking, is needed to maintain a balanced workout routine.

I enjoy working out but sex is more fun. :D

Doing heavy workout I prefer to on alternate days to gym as it gives time for the muscles to develope. Infact it also avoids the strains & sprains.
