The rape victim in this case was a civilian. The military needs to complete its plan of mostly stripping commanders ability to reverse criminal convictions of service members. Lt. Gen. Craig A. Franklin better reitre before Congress gets involved with this case.

Oh I see, I think what you are trying to say is that you consider women to be this part of humanity that represents beauty, respect, care, love and so on as opposed to the brutality, anger, etc that man can show. And since war is considered a playground for this brutality (or playground of men) you find it a shame that women are actually part of the army. You don't want to see women to be part of this brutality.

Example:

England declared war on Finland (1941) with no real reason and we do not forget it.

Finland does not have anything against England, but they view us with hostily.

Most Brits share a deep hatred of Finns, we don't even know where your country is and what your people look like but that's largely irrelevant

The Colonel in the article means well. Physical strength is paramount in most Army and Marine field MOS (positions).
