Woman, 39, accused of breaking into house and raping man

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
^I don't think appearance is a factor.....size may be.....

In short, I believe in one set of rules and laws that applies to EVERYONE equally. So, male or female, unless someone gives you consent to perform an oral (or other) sexual act on them, you will have committed a sexual assault. The law says nothing about gender, size or anything else being a limiting or deciding factor. It's simply not OK to grab a woman's breasts and unless she says "no", you can keep doing it. Likewise, you can't enter someone's home, uninvited, and perform oral sex on them and have that be OK either, just because they didn't fight you off.

This thread just proves a LOT of ignorance.

It was sexual abuse.
The fact that you think a man would have to be gay to not enjoy forceful sexual acts from someone who BROKE IN, you are all even crazier than I perceived.

Rape isn't a joke. I pity you guys for trying to turn it into one.

Now I'm gonna be serious about this, so of course that a rap could happen to everyone, unfortunately if you are at the wrong place at the wrong time it could happen.
It's a terrible situation, which greatly affects the victim and recover from a rap is soo hard and painful.

So for sure I agree with you.

Rape is nothing to joke about. I've dated girls who had been raped, and one of my sisters was raped. It's not funny.

But in regards to this situation:

The "Blow Job Break-in Rape" scenario is funny, because it's stupid. The worst case scenario on the guys part would be: "Not so good. Suck harder, and lick my balls, and use more tongue action!"

I can't imagine that being a rape situation.

Uh, so wrong place & time includes being in YOUR HOUSE?

It just sounds like victim blaming, to cite where someone was when it occurred anyway.

You know how our society insists that everybody has equal rights? Why can't men insist that they have equal protection from sexual assault? The law provides for protection. As has probably been brought up several times, men are the victims of crimes all the time, but rarely report it due to some horseshit idea that only women are victims. Both rape and domestic violence. I'm not sure how, but somehow this manages to shit all over women AND men at the same time.

It still baffles me that some of you somehow think having forced oral sex isn't sexual assault, yet being sodomized would be?

Uhm. Okay.
The logic behind that being what? Butt sex is gay, so that would make it assault? (Just making guesses.) I'm having trouble understanding the concept behind this logic.
Unwanted sexual acts are unwanted sexual acts. Now THAT is a pretty simple concept. I don't see why you guys think if he had been sodomized that would be a crime, yet this isn't?

If it's the word, "rape" that is catching you up, then at least see it for what it is- sexual assault.

Keep acting like this victim was absurd, yet some of you have made comments about getting it on with the perp. Yeah, I guess you're failing to realize that she is obviously INSANE.
What reasonable minded individual decides ya know what? I wanna blow this guy, so let me just break into his house! WHAT.
That is indeed pretty damn creepy & scary. But suuuuuuuure, I'm sure you'd all enjoy it. *eyeroll*

You could only make it more insane by making the perpetrator a female astronaut wearing a diaper.

It just speaks volumes to how differently the people in this thread truly do think men & women are.
I'm not saying there are no differences between the two sexes, but it's honestly SAD that people could think men are incapable of being sexually traumatized by a woman.

I have read accounts of women admitting to drugging men, just to attempt to procreate using their flaccid members.
If these guys somehow see stuff like that as attractive or enjoyable, that's just.. bizarre.

No.

I don't know any victim of rape, and myself never be close to be rape or to rape other person.

In a previous post, I referenced a scenario where a guy may be sodomized.

I wasn't making a point towards legality at all...I was trying to explain why people may regard an oral assault unlikely, as opposed to a scenario where a guy is is rendered defenseless and assaulted.

I agree that the law should apply across the board....no argument there.

Look at it this way, in America, it is difficult to convict on rape, especially date rape, when a woman is a victim. Imagine how more difficult to convict a woman of forcing oral on a man.

Again, I'm not saying it's right, it's just the reality of it.

The difference between men and women is material for hack comedians. Obviously there's the contradictory notion that we are all viewed as equals under the law, yet different. You could change all sorts of parameters in this situation and the response would be strangely different. Change the man's age to 11. Change the female assaulter to a man. Change the gender of the assaulted to female. I think what this really says about the people with the attitude of "lol must be gay" or "bullshit, men can't be raped by women" is that they are so starved for somebody to to touch their members that they would welcome any female to break and enter their home, just to get some head.

I can see your point there, to an extent. I've dated girls who skipped the pill, and I've been lucky and never knocked anyone up. None of that is close to equating some guy getting a blowjob with rape.

To be fair, the details of the news story in the OP are VERY limited.

You guys are assuming she started sucking his cock, then he later claimed abuse because he didn't specifically give her verbal consent.

I *assumed* (perhaps wrongly, although any assumption could be wrong or right, considering the limited details) that this could have meant she began to perform the act on him while the man slept. This was my assumption, since I don't think it would be fair to claim sexual misconduct if he just sat there & let it happen. Though breaking in was still a crime in & of itself.
