Will islam Conform To The West, or Vice Versa

The Jewish people have a long history of being loved, then hated by both Muslims and Christians.

They literally bounced back and fourth. I'm guessing this is just a time when the Christians are more willing to be friends than muslims; assuming we all don't die of nuclear holocaust or pandemic in the next few thousand years. That'll probably reverse itself again at some point.

Our great great great...grandchildren will be arguing about it over some virtual mind projected porn forum; about Muslims loving Jews and Christians wanting to erradicate them etcetc...

Then they'll head over to the Babe Identification tab and see if they can help someone find a new hotties ID or better yet a new internet model for them to collect photos of.

Rinse. Repeat.

Then when that get's old; substitute Muslims for Christians and begin anew.

A classic historical example of this was Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II who saved large numbers of Jews from the Spanish Inquisition
Jewish emigration

Bayezid II also sent out the Ottoman navy under the command of Kemal Reis to Spain in 1492 in order to save the Arabs and Sephardic Jews who were expelled by the Spanish Inquisition. He sent out proclamations throughout the empire that the refugees were to be welcomed.[4] He granted the refugees the permission to settle in the Ottoman Empire and become Ottoman citizens. He ridiculed the conduct of Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella I of Castile in expelling a class of people so useful to their subjects. "You venture to call Ferdinand a wise ruler," he said to his courtiers — "he who has impoverished his own country and enriched mine!" Bajazet addressed a firman to all the governors of his European provinces, ordering them not only to refrain from repelling the Spanish refugees, but to give them a friendly and welcome reception. He threatened with death all those who treated the Jews harshly or refused them admission into the empire. Moses Capsali, who probably helped to arouse the sultan's friendship for the Jews, was most energetic in his assistance to the exiles. He made a tour of the communities, and was instrumental in imposing a tax upon the rich, to ransom the Jewish victims of the persecutions then prevalent.

Be honest vodka...in your dreams you wish that bargepole was an ice cold marlin spike or a meat hook.

So you guys are using a 15th century Ottoman Turk's actions to explain the actions of 21st century Islamists. Wacky and weird.

We weren't using it to explain the actions of 21st century Islamists, simply documenting changing attitudes.
