Why not partially fund Medicare for all by taking a percentage from people's paycheck? You don't think Americans would support that?
Americans aren't socialists for the overwhelming majority of them and you are never going to europeanize or transform Americans into socialists. Do you remember the Obamacare fiasco???
Medicare and Social Security are partially funded by a payroll tax, they take a percentage from people's paychecks to fund these programs. And they're very popular programs. FOH. Get your facts right
This is what the democrats and the socialists want so that people who can't afford healthcare and social security have them being paid by others, this is how it works in european leftist socialist countries. Don't tell me please about getting my facts rights, please know how much socialism has failed in Europe before trying to think of implementing it in the USA.
