I don't understand how Americans have a problem following a black puck on white ice. :dunno:

Well seeing that millions of Americans and Latinos can follow a white ball on green and brown turf I'd say "hard to follow" was being kind.

I should say that they like the NFL, NBA, MLB even NASCAR so much better that Hockey looks boring as #&^* so they would rather leave it to obnoxious Canadians...

It's also annoying to follow because you have a lot of odd Camera angles as the puck moves so quickly across the ice. You'll have the cameraman focusing in on some action only to see that it's already across the rink again. Some of the fast breaks remind me of basketball but in general it's fun to play, not so much fun to watch.

And the weird thing is hockey is the only fast sport in that list (well, except for basketball. Nascar doesn't count cause they go 300 laps), so maybe Americans are just slow?

I concur though I'm now very much into hockey now that the Blackhawks have become relevant again.

Aren't you the guy who said that Canadians aren't obsessed with bashing Americans? How many posts like this are you going to make? I'm sorry if some Americans gangbanged your mom, girlfriend and sisters, let it go.

In football, they're moving just as fast in hockey, but only one team is moving the ball at one time normally. It's the scrambling and lack of progress that just makes it annoying to watch. It basically has most of the downsides of American Football and Soccer with less of the upsides, that's why it's not so popular. Like others have said, hockey is not a sport that translates well to television.

Oh and if you want to argue about there being something wrong with Americans, Hockey isn't very popular except with some European and central Asian countries. Even then it's not the number one sport in most of those countries.

I guess you forgot about this
"I don't understand how Americans have a problem following a black puck on white ice."

So take your derp and shove it up your frozen cornhole mod.

If you think that is insulting you are far more defensive than I good sir.

And, leave my status as a mod out of this, please.

Too slow and boring for Americans, who like a little more action.

Although having said that, I love baseball, which is also pretty slow.:dunno:
