The one and only.
dude baseball sucks.

No, really it doesn't. If I have to choose a sport to watch in person, I'll choose baseball every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Nothing (and I mean, nothing) beats at a day at the ballpark. Give me a beer, some peanuts, and tickets to The Friendly Confines, and I'm ready for a perfect day.

My area doesn't have a pro soccer team. If I had to choose in order what I would like to watch live among the pro sports I have in my state, I'd say (in this order):

NHL
College Hockey (not pro, but WCHA is the shit!) :D
MLB
Soccer
NBA
NFL
MLS (Lacrosse)

Still, of those sports I loved playing hockey and soccer the best. ;)

I'd rather watch monkeys throw their feces at each other. They laugh, I laugh. Everybody wins.

it's just a matter of interest in each country. Americe has a lot of interest in Basebal , basketball and so on.. like India and Pakistan like Cricket, Most of Europe likes Football (soccer in American ), that is the most logical explanation i can give.

I have the power to kill this thread with a click of my mouse, but I don't have the balls to break Icecold's heart like that. So...

One thing that I hate about soccer is how it is called the beautiful game. Who came up with that? I know for a fact that figure skating is the beautiful game. This thread has proven that (most) soccer fans are stuck up. "Oh, you don't like the beautiful game? Well you're just a dumb American."

That what I like to do too.. watch a bunch of steroid enhanced men in really tight pants stand around a diamond for a few hours picking their wedgies and spitting. And all the while I get to drink fizzless yellow 3.2% beer at $8.50 a plastic cup and eat five dollar peanuts while the drunks all around me fart, burp, and yell mantras at the back of my neck. And if I am lucky the other fans might sit down long enough to let me see another guy in tights scratch his sweaty, steroid shrunken scrotum before running twenty five feet.

Pele made the phrase famous.

I've never heard anyone refer to ice skating as "the beautiful game", ice skating isn't even a game lol. Soccer truly is a beautiful game at least to the schooled eye. Ever see a player dribble a ball past three defenders and score a goal, if you havent get on YouTube and check it out because there is nothing more beautiful than that.

all that running around for 3 hours for scores that 1-0

thats too much work for so little pay off.

plus you cant use your hand

plus the players fake too many injuries to attempt draw a foul against the other team. In american sports we call that flopping and its offense worthy of severe boo-ing!

Soccer will big in America along the same time the metric system will be implemented. lets try NEVER!!!!

There's flopping in every sport granted it's not as prevalent as in soccer.
