Why is Obama so liked still?

Because he's a decent guy.

He is good looking, shallow and no substance whatsoever. He has everything that makes things popular today.

^^ He should have. He seems to care more about being a TV star than running the country.:1orglaugh

Middle Eastern people aren't all crazy. It's the governments much like ours. Always the same old shit. Were going back in time with the United States. The government is pushing for as much power as they can get currently. Just look at Net Nutreulity. I probably should say Obama's switch since I don't see it not happening. A rockfeller is behind this.

No bp pisses me off due to the exective not caring. "I want my life back"... What about the dead people who can't get their life back.

Go back with your arguments...
Bush = Nature Crises (Hurricane)
Obama = Human Error Crises (Bp Spill)
Both aren't the Presidents faults, but how long did it take Obama to send help and how long did it take Bush to send help? They both seem slow on this.

Adam west was actually the one thing Family Guy didn't make funny because it's right. He spent a 100 grand of the cities money trying to figure out where the water goes when he waters the plants. I examined that as more real life happening which was far from the randomness of family guy.

The people who caused the problem in the first place are most probably the ones who died when the platform blew up due to their own incompetence, so now, in the time honoured tradition of the USA it is time to play the blame game. Who's fault is it that there is millions of gallons of oil floating in the gulf instead of being nicely packaged into barrels and refined? The real answer is that the people responsible are floating in the gulf along with the oil. As to what a president can do about it - fuck all. He can look as if he is by berating BP, but as BP has a vested interest in capping the flow of oil, this is just a publicity exercise that will not get anything done any quicker. The reality of the situation is that BP employees fucked up big style and it is left to the company to clean up. It does not matter which politician shouts, jumps up and down or criticises BP loudest, the job ain't going to be done any faster. Maybe, instead of wasting breath on telling BP to do what they are already doing, some brains could be used on how best to contain the problem.

Your argument makes no sense either. Bp executives said keep drilling. I hope they get the executives of bp on murder. It's not first degree murder, but it's still murder nonetheless. Who would know more about drilling the guys who are doing it everyday including the engineers or the guy eating his steak dinner that only looks as people as statistics. They told bp to stop drilling the guys on the platform due to faulty equipment, but greedy bp said KEEP DRILLING you worthless scum. Well pay your wrongful death suits.

Yea the executives are surely floating around the ocean. They are the one who told them to keep drilling when the engineers and the guys on the platform didn't want this at all.

Bp's at fault and the people of the nations that rely on the fuel are at fault as well. It's time we made a huge change in energy. The only people who should not be blamed were the ones on the platform.

How nice of the BP CEO to participate in a luxury yacht race today. And how about the BP Chairman referring to all the fisherman and local area residents as the "small people." Yes, it is time to blame someone...let's blame those two!

I think this is wrong in a sense. I believe the executives should be held at the highest level, but the people who rely on oil and complain about the high gas prices are probably what pushed them to make this dumbass decision. That doesn't mean they get off scott free though. I want to put my blame on bp for knowing it was faulty, but they kept on going since they were behind schedule.

People want to blame the people on the rig, but seriously in this economy your out of a job if you say "no" and it's a tough economy right now. If your wrong well you look like an idiot and your also out of a job, but if your right it can be death. I didn't really see the people on the platform having a decision.

I've said it so many times to follow the rules and codes at work even though they may be dumb at times. Training on the fork trucks and order pickers seems illogical since they are so easy to use, but one mistake can kill you or seriously injure you. When it comes down to life and death you should follow the procedures. Oil drilling is also one of the most dangerous jobs on the planet.

You could ask why people still like George W Bush, Ronald Reagan, the Tea Party and bunch of other bullshit political stuff? People like what they like........often for no reason at all.:yinyang:

Why can't we drill for electricity and solar energy so our cars can run on them? :dunno:
A spill of elecrity in the ocean would be much worse though, wouldn't it.
